Yeah, okay. It's not a rule.

jgcruz suggested that we all abide by the proposed changes; or possibly suffer repercussion from the "ruling board of GM's" for doing whatever we wished.

It's seeing 122 points and seeing red as a mob mentality.

It's digging into my box score, desperately trying to find something. Those two interceptions were the definition of ultimate non-factor in the game.

If you don't need those exploits to win, then why do you do it? Do you play like this in other leagues or it's just here? I can't believe you keep doing this after everything we said in the offseason.

He plays like this in all leagues, unless there are stipulations in place mandating that it not be done.

He plays like good ol' GrandadB used to play. Use any avenue possible to give his team the advantage (even though he's good enough to not need the cheats).

When he's called out on it, we're witch hunting. (Woe is me! Everybody's out to get me! The players, the sim engine, the game's creator, everyone!)

I like the guy, too. I don't like his method of gaming.

Or this is allowed in Paydirt? Wait, there are no rules in Paydirt.....

Man... it's only Week 2 and I'm already tired of this.

yea this has to stop why in the **** is anyone doing this period fair play is easily just being ignored

Can you guys make it more clear what exactly we/I need to stop? ..... stop using non fair-play actions or stop checking for it? to stop using it it seems very clear that we need a few rules and to stop checking we need to allow everything that the gameplan allow.....

I meant I'm tired to see non fair-play actions.

Me i like the challenge, i am not after Smirt or someone else, but we need to play all by the same rules.....and just tell to play fair will not work ..... we really need rules or allow everything

I'm not after anyone, either. I'm after fair play. Have been since I threw my hat into this ring.

It appears we are reaching a breaking point in terms of what is considered fair play. Had we adopted the suggested rule change this likely would not have occurred. Nevertheless, the league's GMs are not powerless to respond.

Again, if a GM wants to propose (and generate at least one second) to have a vote a remove any GM whom they consider to be violating the unwritten code of conduct of fair play, please do so. I will entertain such proposals (and seconds) even through private messages with the caveat that after such a vote I will disclose the moniker of the GM who originally submitted (and seconded) the proposal. (There will be no adverse consequences for requesting such a vote no matter the outcome thereof.)

This game should be fun (as frustrating as it can be at times) and we should not allow any GM(s) to detract from that because of unrealistic and unfair tactics. I recognize we might lose one (or more) GMs over this approach - and perhaps the league will fold - but I would rather play with likeminded GMs who treat the game and each other with respect.

I have already received a private message from a GM who claims the tactic of using players unrealistically threatens the camaraderie of the league - and therefore its long term future. I ask the offending GM(s) to think twice before he (they) game the system further. Otherwise, it's up the the league's GMs to step up and protect the integrity of the game. I urge you to do so before it's too late.

If any GM feels I should handle this matter differently, please let me know. PMs are acceptable but not necessary.

I'm not proposing anything until postseason. Since that's what everyone voted on. Idgaf if the rules ever pass. Seems like everyone would rather ***** about the rules than actually change them - based on the voting results from last season.
