That might be the case. If it is, I propose that we give him an opportunity to re-sign some of the players he waived (even at a minimum salary). My goal is to keep the league competitive and he did not create the salary cap issue.

Stop messing around with owners decisions on how to run their teams!

Ask Gustoon what it feels like to have an unknown GM join a league and drop a majority of their team's players. He'll be more than happy to tell you how frustrating it is to watch a team implode from poor management. Usually the GM stays around a season, maybe two seasons and then leaves. Then the GM is left trying to find someone willing to take on a rebuild project. It's just as bad, if not worse than having the AI ruin a team.

I'd take a bad owner over an AI team any time. At least I can try to trade with an owned team.

Are you saying you think it's okay to fleece other GM's? That's kinda what that sounds like.

I would rather a team not be ruined by mismanagement in any case.

I'm sure Warthog didn't mean to say it's okay to fleece a newbie, but merely that by having a GM (vs the AI) in place there is a deal potentially to be had.

Anyway, I'd like to focus on whether we give Dallas a chance to re-sign one or more of his waived players before the rest of the league has a shot at it. If Reeses is okay with where he stands, we'll move on. Please give it some thought.

Crazy, I would fleece every freakin' owner that I could! Buyer beware when dealing with me, but I think you all know that already. :-)

I think we are good to just keep moving clearly a cap saving move though i would of gone after trading some of these players away but ive done something similar in other league once, find the most expensive players and just cut them in fact i just recently did it in the all american football conference league and MFN-1and in one case its looking like ill likely win the division plus looking at the cowboys remaining roster its still a solid team

We have yet to hear from ReesesKing about this situation.

I have claimed former Cowboys MLB Wheatley, DE Lumley and WLB Atwater off waivers. I would have pursued some or all of them using this process anyway. However, I am willing to cut them before the next game phase is played if (1) ReesesKing indicates he would like to re-sign them during the next following midweek phase and (2) everyone agrees to give ReesesKing an opportunity to do so and not to sign any of them during the next following midweek phase.

Please let me know your thoughts.

how are you allowed to claim all those players after telling us we have to pull our offers out i had offers for two of those players before you said we couldnt because of all this regardless if we here from reese or not those players need to hit the market again. Also you would just be putting him back into cap trouble he wouldnt be able to resign them one way or another even if the sim was the one who cut them
