gg Warthog/Browns. Good luck in the next round.

Man, that spin really ****ed me off. Gameplanned heavy run, because QBs **** in the playoffs - so my RB gets an injury mid-1st quarter but still plays the entire game. I can see he's been nerfed because of the injury, but he still gets the ball every 1st down. So every sequence we start with 2nd & 11 or 12. That makes passing kick in, and end up passing 42 times with 3 Ints (should have been 1/2 that number of passes.)

After the game, look at the injured RB - he has a 10 week injury, 0 health with his knee - yet he played the whole game as normal. He ended with 15 carries for -1 yard and 3 catches for 1 yard. I have no idea why the game engine didn't move on to any of the other 4 players on the depth chart.

The injury thing is one of my biggest beefs with the game. I've seen that a lot also, especially at RB. Why doesn't the game engine recognize an in-game injury and remove that player? It just sucks.

Looking back, my original post looks a lot like sour grapes - but I game planned differently than normal because I knew a straight up "normal" game plan wouldn't have gotten the job done because Warthog's Browns are a tough, tough team.

So I'm not claiming that the injury was the reason the Patriots lost - I'm claiming that I looked at the Browns and knew a pedestrian game plan wouldn't work. It was just frustrating that being in 2nd & long all game funneled the play calls to exactly what I was trying to avoid. Also, the passing game did produce significantly more offense than I expected (as well as int's that were expected.) So poor game planning (or excellent game planning by the Browns) is what cost the Patriots.

Apologies for the absence everybody, I've been sick with the flu the last 2 weeks and it's been a difficult to recover from when dealing with the stress of midterms. Right now I'd say I'm at 90% now but the flu took a lot out of me.

Well ****. How in the **** is an AI team beating veteran owners through the playoffs? Well, today it was all on the spin. They got a 110 yard KO return for a TD, a fricking 5 broken tackle 50+ yard TD run, we missed a 33 yard FG (which makes a difference in our play calling at the end as a FG would have won it for us instead of passing when we got down to the OAK 20, we could have just ran it and set up the winning FG.).

Oh well, good luck Minnesota.

Warthog…….the answer to your question is 4.6! Game planning is futile!!!

GG marina/Falcons, I dont watch the games much if at all, I look at the play logs, and our run game did surprisingly well considering that your defense keyed an almost perfect game for every play, And funny enough, it was the opposite for the Vikings' run/pass keys. And that was not what I thought I had gameplanned. Go figure, so much for keying. 4.6 was as big factor in ending the Falcon LC streak at 4 as anything else, congrats on the league record setting run.
