I've done OK in some allocation drafts with that strategy. It all depends on what is available in the early rounds.

I think I probably messed up by going DL first since DL is still nerfed, but I figure having 4 100 SP, 100 ST guys will be a good test.

I went O-line as well, if you have a line your offense will never be totally awful (if you are a decent gameplanner). May not be the most explosive, but slow and steady can win the race... or in this case championship.

For those of you who have done an allocation draft in MFN, whats the renegotiation damage look like in a couple years with almost everyone being on a 2 year deal initially?

All you can do is try to resign the studs, you will have plenty of late rd picks that you can do with
out! Start as soon as you can, a lot of owners forget, I have and it can be ****!

Did you hit the cap pretty quick?

no, when you resign players (if you resign them for 6 years) theres almost no way you hit the cap, its FA that can get you in trouble.

However be careful because all bonuses on players that retire count against your dead cap which can get you in cap trouble as well.

These last 2 days is where GM's earn their money.

The first few rounds was the easy part.
