You still can on the old interface, but it would be best if you got your ducks in a row because it could get ugly if you don't ... not that coaches have that much impact, this is step one (albeit a possible painful one) in a series of steps to increase the influence your coaching staff has.
Also, your coach cash flow is _not_ the same as your salary cap, it is coming from a different budget. So you can be out of coach money and have lots of player cap space.
There was a utility that would balance coaches. Did it go away?
No sir...something looked different but i can't put my finger on it. still have a position coach making more than the oc/dc
There was at one time a patch that appeared for a week or so advising about coaching salaries and you could click a link and it would fix them. But I thought going forward that wasn't supposed to happen.
As far as I know, the utility should appear for all teams to help with the coaching salary conversion/patch that JDB released. If it's no longer appearing for teams, it should be.
The only thing I don't remember is if it was supposed to appear in all leagues or just non-custom ones.
I believe JDB said that was only a temporary option to help you get your salaries in line when these new rules were first enforced.
If you did it then, the Ai would change your coach salaries to be in line with the new requirements without you having to go through the ordeal of hiring/firing a whole new staff of coaches.
If you didn't, then you're now screwed.
Start by hiring all new position coaches at minimum salaries.
The fix was only supposed to be temporary because eventually all coach salaries were going to get balanced ... but at some point it looks like it did break. I am deploying a fix now.
I just got this big long error-type message telling me that my coaches salaries are upside down and there is a link to click at the bottom to help fix it but it only goes to the team?
Yeah, I have one team saying this. I'm not doing it though because I'm really not interested in having really bloated coordinator salaries and then having to re-sign a whole new set of position coaches to get it down.
