Why is this so bad? If you search him by defensive lineman he'll still be at the top.

It's inconvenient to do so.

It's bad because it is deceitful. You are trying to gain an advantage by hiding the player through a position change. I also think (I may be wrong) that he will sign for less money with the lower ratings at the new position. In my opinion, if you are caught doing this, you should be banned.

I tell my players all the time that when they take a short cut either through training, or in the classroom, they are just telling themselves they are too weak to do it the right way. So if you have to do this to win, then you are just admitting you don't have the skill to win without gaining an immoral edge.

This.

I also agree with the above posts that a player should revert back to his "natural" position, which in this case would be the position he has the most EXP in. For instance, if I draft a RB and then convert him to a WR and never play him at RB, he'll have 100 EXP at WR and ~20 at RB. His natural position then would be WR. Now if I convert him to a RG and then cut him, he should revert back to WR on the cut list.

In the case where a player, like an OL, has multiple positions with 100 EXP, then the highest default overall should be used as the tie breaker.

to push a button? ha ha really?

If I feel the need to do this in the future, I'm going to do it, you all know this practice goes on, so watch out in 'transactions', you might end up poaching a bargain ;)

I think you're not considering how long it takes for that list to compile and then be sorted by postion. Also if you're using a phone it's incredibily slow and difficult to use.

So don't do it on a phone. OR you could just make life as hard for yourself as possible and do it on your phone....hmmm choices.
