Just wondering if anyone else has had one or more in their leagues drop out with a similar comment.

Sorry I am out. This does not resemble football in my experience. Last game 22 sacks total between the teams. And running seems futile. Definitely not my cup of tea.

It is what it is .. if this was something that required payment, I wouldn't be here either.

Its free ... has its quirks ..

Id rather a player leave than release all their players as a big 'ol FU to the leagues.

I recently dropped the two teams I controlled. One because I prefered to spend the time I put into the game in a different way, and also because I found I was simply trying to win at MFN, I wasn't trying to win at football. Two very different things.

It is what it is though, and MFN is still excellent. No way bashing things, just my take

You will always have complainers. I was once walking into a grocery store and a guy declined a coupon for a free Dominoes Pizza. The man giving out the tickets asked the potential patron if he wanted a free coupon and the patron said, "no there has to be a catch'. When informed it was a promotion and there was no catch, the patron complained that 'he wished he could just go into the store without getting harassed'?!

There are tools no matter where you go or what the situation. MFN is a lot of fun and I for one, appreciate it. If you don't like it, feel free to spend your time elsewhere.

I agree, I asked the question to see if both new or existing players were quiting more than normal or before, thought it might be due in part to the start up of 0.4.1 and getting some of the bugs fixed. Had a couple of other players who have been in for a few months tell me that they were going to take a break, with the hope that the new version improved. So, thats why I was asking, to see if this was going on as much in other leagues.

To all players, as long as they come and go quietly, more power to them.

For those who come and go with fanfare, take your drama queen act and leave. Find a meaningful existence outside of a free on-line football game, and spare us all from your theatrics!

22 Sacks in the game? Fix your OL. Stop calling so many passes when you don't have an OL to buy you time.

There is a lack of parity, but that is on each individual owner. SOME of these games are like a Pro Team vs. a HS Team. Some are like a Pro Team vs. a JUCO. Some are like a Pro vs. a College. Some are like a Pro vs. a Pro.

You don't want 22 Sacks in your game... build a good Team, and play good Teams.

If you're still in Public Leagues, you'll still get a Ton of Sacks every single game. You want a better Game, get in a Better League with Better Owners.

Dumbest comment ever on MFN? It is in the running...

Ha ha had a similar thing happen with a work colleague. after a Christmas party we went to McDonald's and my workmate asked for a burger, fries and a drink, the guy serving said do you want that as a meal (saving him money) and my workmate said no. The guy serving tried to explain and my dumb *** workmate still insisted that he didn't want the money saving option.

As KoB said, there are just complainers that you just can't tell, no matter how much rationale you throw at it.
The guy and me made eye contact and exchanged the 'unbelievable' face.

As I mentioned before, I agree that there will always be a % of complainers, that the game will not be good enough for no matter what, they do not concern me. What does concern me, and why I asked the question in the first place, is the players that were enjoying the game, had some issues with it like most do who post in the gen forum about them, but recently quit due to frustration with the new game version, which has produced some unrealistic scores and stats, along with goof actions on the playback, several which have been posted and are in the process of being fixed. I dont like those either, but enjoy the game and will keep playing knowing that jdb is working to correct the glitches & bugs as quickly as he can. I hope most will have patience and will allow jdb the time to correct and improve the game, which has been stated before, and is worth re-posting.
