The party has started in Atlanta!!!!

Did GrandadB & Meatmen tell you what plays to run? That's a bit of a drastic change over two weeks, sir. I know why you beat me. I was the first to play you after you changed your gameplan. It should get more difficult as GM's start to learn your new plays.

I'm glad your competitive. I'm just a bit surprised at the abruptness of it. Quite certain it has to do with the gameplanning.

GrandadB & Meatmen are without a doubt two very good GMs with great knowledge about gameplanning and advanced strategies in the game, but, to be honest, if you want to know why you lose you should check your side because on the Falcons side there was nothing like much of gameplanning, plays to run or advanced strategies or something of this kind .... i`m pretty sure that even GrandadB & Meatmen are very surprised about those two wins.....
Same thing for the Vikings, should be something on their side cause i cannot believe that a bunch of leftover FA players could be the reason of their loss....

Am not that surprised, lol. 1. look at Atlanta's transaction record for last 3 sims, that will show you most, if not all, of my recommendations for key roster cuts/adds. 2. play selection .... was trimmed from full 40/30 with emphasis on plays with best averages being used more than others. 3. gameplanning - misc settings & rules. The punter was also not active, which is usually associated with "tanking". You can also look at Cincy's recent transactions and difference in competitive level, they are on a good roll now since a gdb "advisory", lol. cheers

Thanks, GrandadB. I figured there were play selection adjustments & that was basically all I was asking about. I'm not mad I got beat (well, maybe a little).

I'll forgive you for assuming it was on my end, marinarul10. Anytime a team changes play selections it gives them an advantage over their next opponent. That is why you beat Detroit.

I'll say again, that I'm glad your team is competitive now. :)
I look forward to playing you in the future.....very much.

marinarul10, do you get the sense how valuable every win is in this league? lol

Thanks guys for reaching out to mentor an incoming GM. Good stuff.

It`s up to you man, on what you want to believe and it seems to me that you really want to believe that it wasn`t on your end ... i`m fine with that.....but if you really want to find the reason for your loss and improuve your team, don`t listen what GrandadB told me to do and listen what I really did .... more than half of my roster were new players so i was saying to myself that there is no reason to sort the plays by avg per call with a different roster..... so i cut the plays that were not used (or almost not used) in the last 5 games or so saying to myself that i will need to reevaluate the plays after 5 games or so with the new roster...basically the same plays as before were used.....are you agree with me that this is not much of gameplanning that could change the winner of a game?
If the reason of your loss was the bunch of FA that i pick-up than you have a problem with the roster selection and that is definitely not the case because my mentors also said : << the next two games you will face two very powerful teams with great GMs, scout them and learn from them( it was about NO and Detroit)>> ....i did not scout anything cause i was busy on the FA market.....
So the only reason that remains valuable for your loss against a bunch of FAs was on your end, sir....

P.S. it will be always a pleasure playing you,sir ....

I've been here long enough to know that the roster changes & the miniscule adjustments you made to your playbook mattered. Even GrandadB said he wasn't surprised you won. That says something about the preparation. You'll figure it out. You're a new player. I was there once. I thought I was better than I was and that cutting even a few plays wouldn't matter. Also thought that the roster adjustments weren't as important as they actually are.

Listen to those that have been here longer. Even the brash, rough-around-the-edges type, like myself. We're telling you what's important. (Play selection, roster, gameplanning) The FA "rejects" were good enough to improve your team. Weren't they? So play selection is valuable, too.

I don't care if you like me. I'm telling you from experience what happened.
To your credit: the 5 INT's didn't help my cause, either. That couldn't have been because of defensive adjustments (sarcasm). I'll admit my team played poorly. It happens.

Happy to develop a new rival!! Good day.....SIR.

So, you and GrandadB division rivals....GrandadB help me to beat you ..... It seems to me that the only way to fix all this will be to beat GrandadB too in a few days ....
