The Falcons hold a 1 game lead in the conference record category

I`m a little confuse .... Since we both have left two games inside the conference, are you saying that if Carolina is gonna lose both games, i will have the Division title ? Then why is Carolina in top of the division standing right now ?

What he is saying is if both teams keep having the same record for the tie to broken for the division is best conference record will break it considering it is the 4th thing to break the tie and probably it will go to that for the division

NFL tiebreaking procedures = https://operations.nfl.com/the-rules/nfl-tiebreaking-procedures/

TO BREAK A TIE WITHIN A DIVISION
If, at the end of the regular season, two or more clubs in the same division finish with identical won-lost-tied percentages, the following steps will be taken until a champion is determined.

Two Clubs

1.Head-to-head (best won-lost-tied percentage in games between the clubs)
2.Best won-lost-tied percentage in games played within the division
3. Best won-lost-tied percentage in common games
4. Best won-lost-tied percentage in games played within the conference
5. Strength of victory
6. Strength of schedule
7. Best combined ranking among conference teams in points scored and points allowed
8. Best combined ranking among all teams in points scored and points allowed
9. Best net points in common games
10. Best net points in all games
11. Best net touchdowns in all games
12. Coin toss

The Paydirt Report: Week 15

Two more teams in the NFC get knocked out of the playoff race with two teams left in the AFC still trying to steal that last dance ticket. Ironically in the AFC, a West team(Denver) defeated a North(Cleveland) team to block them from sitting in the cat bird seat to the Wild Card round while a North team(Cincinnati) defeated a west team(Kansas City)to keep those two locked up for that last spot.

In the NFC, both the NY Giants and Tampa Bay got knocked out by their division leaders(Dallas and Carolina). Or at least Carolina is in a tie with Atlanta for the NFC Super South title. The Falcons have never owned a division title in it's franchises history and only making 1 Wild Card appearance back in 1976. The Panthers own 1 blackflys trophy when they won Super Bowl V.

Dallas holds the NFC home field advantage going into the final week. They win the secure it. Home field advantage has not been settled yet in the AFC as Buffalo and Cincinnati are tied @ 12-3 going into week 16. The NFC North has yet to be settled with Detroit holding a 1 game lead over Green Bay.

Games to Watch: Week 16
Green Bay @ Minnesota
Detroit @ Carolina
Cleveland @ Cinncinati
New England @ Buffalo
Kansas City @ Houston
Dallas @ Tampa Bay
Atlanta @ Washington
