I don't understand the bolded point at all. The way most of the 221 plays are designed, the RB is exactly where I would put him. The WR1, TE1, and FB (when he runs the route) pull all the action right, which leaves the RB iso'ed at the left usually on a LB or the SS. That's the exact situation that you want to have as an OC in that case. Your RB should be able to beat his man to the edge.
Exactly, dont know why you dont understand it, especially since you were the one who stated it. So far every time Ive run the 221 TE Post or TE Deep Corner the pass has been thrown to the RB in the left flat, and it is a good gain when caught. Whether it can be defended effectively is here nor there, the point being is that the RB is targeted every time, which is what I would like to see changed in the game and have the QB use the FOV and related atts to select more than just the same target each play.
