I fail to see what the issue is here. New York made a 1st Rd pick in the 1983 season. To say they didn't have a 1st Rd pick on their "Future Picks" resume is an absolute joke!!! Pretty sure 1983, 1984, & 1985 consumate a "Future Picks" card. If it does not, the 1984, 1985, & 1986 definitely consumates a "Future Picks" card. Either way NEW YORK had/has a 1st Rd pick in a 3 season period. There is NO violation.

I totally agree with meatman here! If ANY rule is handed down by the commissioner, then it is ALL the owners responsibility to act accordingly! End of story, If all referees are calling pass interference (based on the rules), during a game, it wouldn’t make sense if they called it against all 31 teams except one, point is, if a rule is out there, despite of what your sentiments are towards it, all 32 teams must cooperate! As for voicing your sentiments towards how you feel about the rule to be changed, that should be done after week eight up till the end of the season!

Choices 1) Cleveland trades the 1985 Round 1 (NYJ) back to NJ in exchange for CB Dwight King. Results: 5 2) Let the trade stand as is. Results: 5 3) Abstain Results: 0
Votes Not Counted: jgcruz(1) & CrazyRazor(2) did not post just their votes Salty_Watermelon(1) vote was after the deadline
Tie-Breaker I gotta be the tie breaker. To no surprise I will vote 1.
A) Cleveland and NYJ go ahead and make the trade (Cleveland trades the 1985 Round 1 to trades back to NYJ in exchange for CB Dwight King).
B) You cannot trade those two assets back to each other until after next years draft.
C) The original trade will count towards the Trade Restriction and this trade back will not.
