Back at u Tom/Packers, that game confirmed some things for me. The offense has taken two steps back this season, and the defense has taken one step back. The fumble after our best drive to your red zone in the 1st half turned out to be a killer. The Browns could not run on the Pack D, 24 yds on 25 attempts, that was a wall we ran into. GL rest of the season my old friend, you're lookin good, as usual.

I'm gonna give every opponent what i consider the minimum: injuries, scouting, basic rules vs run only and pass only o plays, and the occasional run / pass keyed d tab adjustments.
I'm not going to do all the extra research. I'm prolly going to end up doing both off and def over rides. I cant help myself.

Me not trying is making sure i still do what I consider the basics: Scouting, roster management, depth chart, and D rule keys i can take advantage of; the misc tab, and basic overs (using pass block or run block heavy o lines and making sure the primary LB blitzer is a blitzer, etc).

My opponents are deserving that i do what i consider the basics. What I consider to be not trying. Will I whip out my paper and pencil and run the numbers to determine what rules, what plays and the math? Prolly not.

I'm not happy with where the game is, but i'd *again* be a fool to declare some dictation of "fix the game engine or i quit."
I kinda feel that way. There's so much broke shtuff (see league league chat rant a couple days ago).
The entire reason i came back was... well, some folks do Sudoku (SoSuckYou), and i do MFN. The reasons are the same.
(yay i wont be popping man/man d's vs 1.1.3's. Yay!)

I'd like to apologize, but i think everything i said was broke in that rant i had a couple days ago in league chat box is exactly what many of us wont say. So, no apologies.

I've never seen MFN so broken.

Again, i'd never go full awol with game prep, and my opponents deserve that I try - it would be disrespectful to not do what i consider to be the basics in regards to game planning. I ain't going to give myself some stupid ultimatum.


Special thx to MV for kicking the sim delay tab as best they can - and for also having all the hope I hold for some critical fixes to happen much sooner rather than much later.

Hoping for some significant game improvement WH, :) Maybe AI will help reduce the code work time. How about the RL Bears? I enjoy seeing NFL teams that have been have nots get into the hunt. The Cowboys have turned their season around, after their fans going nuts over losing Parsons, the addition of WR Pickens and two defensive players, Williams & Wilson have made a big diff. Have to give the Pats credit, they have "re-tooled", great example of good management and player evaluation. Happy Holidays!

There is one posted in another league, will see if I can find it, it was pretty impressive, but not many if any would read the whole thing. There is a minority as it is that even looks at the league forums.
