Thanks WH & OT, based on what the MFN auto mgr did to the Browns roster in the last EOS and Early FA, I didnt think the Browns would even come close this season after being in the previous two champ games. Half the secondary was gone. For more detail you can read the Auto Manager is Horrible! thread. ha! I can laugh now, but it was not funny then. Two key additions to the defense were the difference makers, 2.21 pick WLB Tagg and CB2 Parenteau traded from Miami. Even with those additions, I still felt pretty vulnerable on defense, but, I guess the sim was with us. It also substantiates my view that roster is only half the equation for winning. Last time I won the Paydirt LC was way back in the 1980 season with the Packers, and I didnt think they had a good chance either. Offensive Taco's Cowboys were 11-5 division winners that season. Several names of longtime successful players in a fully owned league in that 1980 season that are no longer playing brought back memories. Paydirt was always full and had waiting list in those years.
