As we prepare for the upcoming 2016 season, I first want to congratulate GrandadB on his championship season with the Cleveland Browns! I don't normally make these kinds of new topic posts unless they are related to the in-game season. This time, it is going to be a little bit different.

Sometime during the summer of last year, I looked back at this league and noticed that I was coming up on my 30th season in Paydirt. Fast forward to today, the 2016 season will be my 30th season in the Paydirt Football League. But, I made a goal and a promise to myself on that day last year. Hence, this message. With that said, I am here to announce that at the end of the 2016 season, I will relinquish my role, as both commissioner and member of the Paydirt Football League.
When I first joined this league, I was either a junior/senior in high school. Since then, I've graduated high school, 4 years later, I've graduated college, and now, in present day, I am looking towards making a huge step in my career with a new full time job opportunity. Even though in the past, I have managed to put some time into managing this league, the past few seasons I have taken a step back in my commissioner role. I knew this back last year and considered resigning at the time, but this league and most importantly, you all have meant a lot to me. I told myself, I wanted to make it to season number 30 before calling it quits.

With all that being said, the last championship season for the Paydirt Dolphins was 10 seasons ago, in 2007. Safe to say, this team is hungry to win one last championship. This team will be pushing all its chips forward in pursuit of a championship and I would love to encourage everyone else to join on going all in. Let the 2016 season be THE GREATEST season in Paydirt history! Thank you all so much!
