Some things are settled and some things are not after week 15. Congrats go out to Oakland, Cleveland, Houston, Seattle and Green Bay for their division titles. It is Cleveland's 7th, Seattle's 6th, Green Bay's 5th, Oakland's 2nd and Houston's 1st titles. The AFC East, NFC East and NFC South will go down to the last week before they will be decided. Wild Cards are all up for grabs entering week 16. Can't ask for much more drama than that. Let the last desperate scramble begin.
Game of the Week: Buffalo 28 New England 27
The Patriots did all they could do to put a monkey wrench into a division foes title hopes with their upset bid of the Buffalo Bills. But the Bills rally in the 4th to keep their AFC division championship hopes alive. Buffalo QB Mitchem threw two TD passes in that pivotal 4th quarter for the comeback victory. Now on to the rest of the PFL.
AFC West Oakland(12-3) falls behind in the home field advantage race with their upset loss to Minnesota. The race for that last wild card spot is all about the West with San Diego(10-5), Kansas City(10-5) and Denver(10-5). What a battle this has been. Kudos go out to rookie GM broncos7nuggets as they have battle tough throughout the season to stay in the hunt with some pretty elite GMs in that Wild Wild West.
East Defending Paydirt Champions Miami(13-2) control their own destiny with the division title and home field advantage. Buffalo(12-3) escaped an upset in week 15 and is doing everything possible to grab that title away from Miami. New England(3-12) fell short in their upset bid with Buffalo but will have another chance in the final week as they face Miami. The NY Jets(3-12) will face Buffalo to see if they can spoil a division foes party.
North Cleveland(10-5) is on cruise control and is in a position to get players healthy for the playoffs as they will be playing in round 1. Pittsburgh(6-9), Baltimore(5-10) and Cincinnati(4-10-1) all are in off-season planning mode.
South Houston(12-3) with their first ever division crown is in the mix for a first round bye. They finish up the season against Jacksonville(7-8) who would love to ruin that for the Texans. Indianapolis(4-11) and Tennessee(2-13) are just going through the motions til the off-season shows up.
NFC East The race will go down to the final week in the East between Washington(10-5) and Dallas(9-5-1). Dem Cowboys will face division foe NY Giants(8-7) while the Redskins will go up against Chicago who has nothing to lose. Philadelphia(2-12-1) is playing the season out with higher hopes next year.
West Seattle(10-5) clinches their 6th NFC West title with a 3rd win in a row. Arizona(9-6) with their 3rd win in a row as well and are in the wild card hunt with several teams. Los Angeles(9-6) has lost steam at seasons end but are still in the wild card race. The 49ers(0-15) have one more game to save their GMs job. It isn't looking good in San Francisco.
North Green Bay(11-4) still hold on to the home field advantage race but with their 2nd loss in a row they are just hanging on. Minnesota pulled off a big upset over Oakland to put the Raiders behind in their home field advantage race. Detroit(4-11) and Chicago(3-12) are off-season planning.
South With New Orleans(10-5) big win over division leading Tampa Bay(11-4-1) they still have a chance to over take the Bucs for the South title. The Bucs have been sitting on top of the South since 1976. Will the Saints be able to pull it off. Tune in this week to find out. Both Atlanta(8-7) and Carolina(7-8) could pull off upsets this week as the Falcons play the Saints and the Panthers play the Bucs. Oh how the would love to stick it to the division front runners.....just because.
Game to Watch Week 16 Los Angeles @ San Francisco Washington @ Chicago Dallas @ NY Giants Atlanta @ New Orleans Tampa Bay @ Carolina Arizona @ Seattle San Diego @ Kansas City Denver @ Cleveland Buffalo @ NY Jets Miami @ New England
Seattle will still win the division if we beat them week 16? With a win we would then have the same division record and a better conference record. Also if we are able to beat them by more than 11 points we would have more points scored on the season as well. Am I missing something?
In our Leagues Help section there is a link for tie breaker break down......Tie breaker break down, i like it. lol Anyway thanks to greyghost1225 for the link.
Thanks TB. We’ve come a long way from that FG fest in the opener against you guys. I still have no idea how our team went from no offense to where they are now. Two totally different teams with the same players and GP. Go figure.

GG New Orleans,
A tight close Battle Royal indeed, that 50yd run with 2 mins to go from Butler, with 4 Bucc`s players trying to get him to ground was a killer.
You have a better team than us at this stage of the season.
NFC Playoff Possibilities The final game and there has been one more thing determined, Atlanta is out. If a couple of games played out differently, I wouldn’t even be writing this, but do it out of some unknown obligation. Okay for the final week, here is what I see. If Dallas and New Orleans win, they are in, and this article was basically to fill my need for my apparent secret writing fetish.
NFC East Washington 10-5 @Chicago Dallas 9-5-1 @Giants
Division Winner Outlook Both teams won which kept both teams in the hunt. This is known, if both teams win, they are in. In the case of Dallas losing, they are out with a Rams or Cardinals win. If Washington loses and Dallas wins. Dallas wins the division and Washington could be in a tie-breaker for final wild card.
NFC West Arizona 9-6 @ Seattle 10-5 Los Angeles 9-6 @San Francisco
Division Winner Outlook I know I have seen that Seattle has won the division. I don’t see that, as in the case of Denver a few seasons ago. If Seattle beats Arizona, they win the division. If Arizona wins, I show the tie-breaker going to games in common, so Arizona still could win. I will leave the research to someone else. If Arizona loses, they are out. In the Rams case they need a few things a win against San Francisco and a Seattle win, plus either a loss by Dallas/New Orleans/Washington to have a chance, if this happens, they could be in a potential tie-breaker.
additional note added: It looks as if Arizona has determined that Seattle will win the division regardless, so Seattle will be playing for a first round bye and Arizona a potential wild card.
NFC North Green Bay
NFC South Tampa Bay 10-4-1 @Carolina Atlanta @New Orleans 10-5
Division Winner Outlook A Tampa victory secures the division, a loss and a New Orleans win it is a wild card. New Orleans, a win is a playoff birth, either division title or wild card. A loss does not eliminate them, but there are numerous teams they could be tied with, so the tie-breaker could come into play.

The only thing I can say is to be talking about 7 teams in one conference that are still in the playoff hunt the final week of the season is huge no matter which league a person is in. I am not going to go through all the potential wild card tie-breakers. I will show this; these teams could end up at 10-6. Washington Seattle Arizona Los Angeles New Orleans
In a smaller tie, that would determine home field in the playoffs, these teams could tie. Dallas Tampa Bay
If I missed anything feel free to reply of pm and I will update this.
Scratchin the head bigtime after that loss, GG OT/Dallas, typical 4.5 as far as interceptions go and looks like Im going to have to change up a few things going into the last game. We've been beat pretty good the last two games, major concern. Best of luck making the playoffs & possible div winner, Dallas is lookin real good and should be in it, cheers.
