With the sudden departure of GrandadB the Green Bay Packers wasted little time finding their new leader as they hire former New England Patriots GM CoachSimpson.
CoachSimpson has been waiting in the wings for the right job to come around and he jumped at the opportunity to take the reigns of a former Super Bowl team. His departure from the Patriots in 1980 left him feeling like their was some unfinished business to settle. He has a 14-24 career record at Paydirt and is looking to improve on that in a big way. He joins a very interesting division in the NFC North with the likes of veteran GM's CrazyRazor, OffensiveTaco and rookie Damion. CoachSimpson takes over a Packer team that has gotten out of the gate 0-3 with all three being division losses. He's got his work cut out form him in 1982.
Welcome back and good luck in the land of cheese.
