The Green Bay Packers had a lot going on in the past 24 hrs as their GM resigned and took the job in Philadelphia. We are waiting on that press conference. The Packers then immediately hire mathan to take the helm.

mathan brings a little over a years of MFN experience with him to the Green Bay organization. He doesnt have a lot of seasonal experience in that time but the Packers are excited to bring so fresh ideas and compete for a NFC North title as soon as he can. He inherits a former Super Bowl champion squad but as any good GM will tell you, ya gotta keep moving or the team will get old and less productive quick.

First of all I would like to thank the franchise that gives me the chance to play in the Paydirt League.

It is an honor to be part of the Packers and their history. That's why it's going to be a tough task to follow up on. First of all I want to get a picture of the team and then I want to strengthen the team so that it will be successful again in the long run. A complete rebuild is not aspired and will not be possible, because we do not have many picks in the next 1-2 years. Maybe I can still get one or two picks via trade. Now it goes to the work that we can be successful again for the next season.
