not sure how this is an overpay at all the player has a high trade value grade which we had to find a player i was willing to give up to make work so a young LT which wont hurt me that much and i will easily be able to replace next year worked

The WR is only worth a low 1 that's why. He doesn't have the speed to be a game changer, but he's a perfectly legit possession WR. I mean I paid a 1 for a good possession WR, but I also picked up three additional picks: https://paydirt.myfootballnow.com/forums/1/1229?page=1#8172

The OL in this trade is as good as the WR. The SP, AC, ST, RB, PB combo means that he can play inside or outside. So this trade boils down to a 1, 2 and a player worth a 1 for a possession WR. The only way I think this trade is worth it is if you can get double the TDs out of that guy that I got out of Lefebre, and good luck.

He's worse at RB where he'll drop to 70 SP and have a hard time getting to the second level. At WR, he can at least operate in space where his route will carry him. So what you're telling me is that you paid two 1s and a 2 for 3.5 YPC RB.

eveyone keeps saying they lose speed and yet i have done this several times before and have not lost speed and even if he drops some i prefer him playing at both at RB1 and WR4 so yes plus i think **** average more tan 3.5 hes only ran the ball twice so call me crazy but im cool with how it turned out

With the trade score of the WR so high, trading for just a first was unlikely.
Even then, there's no guarantee that the draft pick will bloom.
While negotiating with him, I'm sure 500 has thought about it and he probably sees that at that position of the draft, this was far more the better value for his team than through the draft.
If I could've given an additional pick or player, I would have as well. Trade meter is a good suggestion, but handicaps are built in it as well.
