Not sure I seee the logic in this trade MVR? Will the WR help you win a champiomship? HE BETTER bc in his 8th season he will be done next year. The Center couldv'e helped to shore up a O line that lacks strength over his career that will probably last at least 5 more season. The 2nd round draft pick ............ well that was a bad move. I am sure that this is all a part of your plan so who am I to critisize? I was hoping to get through th preseason without any isues....let's see how this plays out? lol..........................................MM

A 2nd round pick was too much for an 8th year WR but the real problem is this WR is in the last year of his contract which means he will be asking a ton of bonus money to stay on his team.

It's a catch 22 because to make the trade worth it, you need to resign him. His speed will drop over the next few seasons but his all around pass catching attributes mean he can excel at WR#1 the next 2 seasons when his speed drops.....but to keep him will cost you and he is already at 10% retirement.

For those that don't know, WR#1 just isn't targeted much in the plays that actually work in MFN and a great receiver (100 pass catch/B&R/Punish/route running) does better at the WR#1 position will sub 80 speed. WR#2 is where your fastest receiver should go because the money plays (FL Hitch etc) target WR#2 in this game.

MEATMAN is correct....this is a win now trade. If a team that has made the playoffs and fallen just short made this trade then I would understand it but someone trying to figure it all out and maybe finish 8-8...it's a waste!

I'm not asking for any action or review but it is poor judgement

MVRowner offered me a 3rd rd pick and the center. Then, I counter-offered him with this trade.

Last year, I traded a similar WR (who was 1 yr older than Kelley at that time) for a 2nd and a 3rd rd picks to Arizona. Also, this trade happened a few days ago: https://paydirt.myfootballnow.com/forums/1/1661?page=1#11332 A worse WR (and 1 yr older) for a 3rd rd pick.

If anyone wants to review this trade, go ahead. If MVRowner wants to undo the trade, let's do it. But there's no way I'm trading Kelley for less than that. I hope explained well why I asked for that return.

Don't blame you lack of judgement on another, Are you sure it was the Redskins GM or your roomate hacking you again? Take responsibility for your own actions. You can always reject a trade. It doesn't take Vince Lomardi knowledge to see your giving up your future for a "practically" washed up WR. 95% of RB/WR's are done for @ 9 saesons! I have shared that with you before. If this guy catches 30 TDs and Gaines 2000 Yards it's not going to help you win in the long run! He is done after next year! You gave up a player with a full career for one with almost none left. It's your team and I'm not going to challenge the trade. This latest lecture is about accepting personal responsibility. YOU made a bad trade, OWN IT! Thers is no rule in Paydirt against attempting to, shall we say.... "out trade" another GM. The competiton comitee is only to settle disputed trades and protect the league from forms of collusion. The best trades are when BOTH teams come out even and bettter themselves, NOT ALL GMs think that way! Some days you get the bear & Some days the bear gets you, in this case androwski Roared LOL! Best of luck young man, I hope you figure it out............................................MM

As my dear departed Mother would've said, "If androwski told you to jump off a bridge would you do it"? ( Don't get any ideas androwski) or when you said Washington did you mean Congress? I would probably believe that! lmao...............................................................MM

It is too late for reviews . I would not support a rerversal either. Whats done is done. I was just sharing my humble opion. Mostly for the benefit of a younger player who complaied his team was not responding and the shoots them in the foot lol. Please don't think I am being hard on him. I always have kind of a warped sense of humor and use sarcasim to get my point acrtoss in the forums. I never personally attack anyone. It may seem like it, but trust my my intent is purely to help younger players to mature.......................................................MM

I accepted this trade because he said it was a good deal and he gave me references.
