Why cant they take those stupid jumbo formation plays out that work all the time? They took away other offensive plays and a zone play on defense that worked way too much, so why do we still have those jumbo formation to the TE, er I mean RB or WR or Waterboy that result in a first down or TD just about every time? I wish playing this simulation required actual football knowledge and strategy instead of just knowing what plays are cracked.

There are defensive plays that shut those plays down. If everyone called them, no one would call those plays anymore.

Guess I must try and figure out which ones those are. Come on gimmie a hint Legend and dont be so Ruthless. Is it a goaline, Normal, Nickle? Normally it should be some kind of goaline or 46 D, but thats football.

Dime Normal Double WR1 WR2
Dime Normal Double WR2
Dime Normal Man Cover 1 (this one gives up some completions but stops the run better than the first two)

Basically the TE is the WR2 so any doubling of WR2 will keep these plays from going big.

I stop calling these plays against top owners because they’re useless.

The above is to go against the i formation power plays.

Considering the 3-1-1 is basically only good for those passing plays, an override to the dime is usually successful, if people successfully ran out of that formation the default normal or goal line defenses would be needed, but the threat of the pass is too severe to let them play default.

It's just weird having a dime formation against a jumbo pack. Hey thanks for sharing that info guys.

Ideally yes. But if you knew a team just passed out of it, you’d call a pass defensive formation like Dime right? It makes sense even if it’s not traditional.
