I think the key to anything in this game is “going outside the box”. If it’s a traditional running look, hit them with the pass. If there was a way to predict the qb scrambling for a big gain in one of the “pass only” sets, I guarantee it would take off like a wildfire (wildcat even, lol).

That’s kind of the point of the overrides of these leagues that allow wr to play te/fb (or cb anywhere on defense) the speed kills philosophy definitely works. I still play a couple leagues that force legitimate te’s or reasonable weights for inside positions, but the scoring is significantly lower and the gaps between legit contenders and cream puffs larger.

GG Rams, apologies for late or missed responses, I had a serious allergic reaction that knocked me out for the last day and a half. Here’s some advice, don’t cut grass over a hornets nest.

It's just weird having a dime formation against a jumbo pack. Hey thanks for sharing that info guys.

Ideally yes. But if you knew a team just passed out of it, you’d call a pass defensive formation like Dime right? It makes sense even if it’s not traditional.

Yes, but doesn't that leave you weak if they run down your throat from a jumbo formation if you are in a dime?

Yes but that goes with any defensive and offensive playcalling. You have to find a way to counter. Which is why I mentioned the Dime Normal Man Cover 1 is solid against both. The other ones are better against the pass.

Side note, I just noticed that my DE John Brown is 5 sacks away from tying the all time Paydirt sack record. https://paydirt.myfootballnow.com/player/9998

He's only 32 he should definitely reach it. Likely this year if he keeps it up.

GG Titans, I think this one became the battle of the better defense. I say that because I’m pretty certain this is the first time all season that your QB and WR were not highlighted on the player of the week. I’ll most likely see you again in the playoffs.

GG. It was really just 4 TO to 0. Roll of the dice. It happens though. To me a lot lol. Haven’t quite figured out why I throw so many interceptions but don’t seem to get many in return. It’s been that way for as long as I can remember.
