That is not the Patriots way.
They always seem to trade guys away to steal playbooks then get them back via free agency.

FA Day 1 Highlights

Arizona snagging RT Terry Mullins back from the clutches of the vultures out there was a huge deal.

Atlanta got a couple nice pickups with LG Charles Oneal (from Jax) and DE Ray Dias (from Den).

Kansas City signed under-rated WR Juan Torres (from Mia) and a stud TE Charles Varney (from Dal)

I see some serious bidding going on for day two. One player had 15 offers on day one and another had 13 offers just to name a couple.

Torres will be replace McMahon in the McMahon role on my team. Varney should pair well with Hathaway who will slide to the H-Back role.

Free Agency Day 2 Highlights

The Raiders bring home a prize in CB Phillip Madison. There was a lot of money thrown his way but he took the 50m 6 yr deal from Oakland.

The Saints took home a prize of their own by landing WR Bob Stafford. They'll have him for 3 yrs for 10m. They also landed DE Peter Roof and CB Robert Johnson. The Saints had a good day.

The Bears were also busy on day 2. They signed C Mauricio Terry and CB Fredrick Vandyne.

Kansas City have another good day on day 2. They may have missed out on CB Madison but they still managed to sign FS Lawrence Dooley who they are moving to CB and CB Brian Gowan. The Chiefs has had a good two days in a row.

The Redskins land highly sought after G Thomas Biddle and LB Robert Nickle.

The Buffalo Bills made a splash on day 2 by winning the sweepstakes for DE Larry White and TE moving inside to G Ivan Williams.

Other notables:
Atlanta signs T David Carrillo
Seattle signs WR Rory Roberson
Tennessee signs QB Steve Grogan
Miami signs T David Rhoades
Dallas signs FS Renaldo Stewart
