The Cards game close to upsetting the Rams, if only their FB had not made a holding on the play, that would set us up on the Rams 14 with 1 minute left in the 4Q for what could have been a game winning FG :(
Anyway, we looked competetive against one of the better teams in the league :)
GG Rams!
Gg. We certainly got lucky in that one! And to be verbally praised as one of the better teams is moral boosting coming from a good owner, but I think the Rams dream season will come to an end sooner than later.
We had the "easy" part of our schedule up to this point.(past opponents 18-43 record) Really with only two easy games left I am expecting our true colors to show .( 36 -23 record remaining)
This game was a great example of our real situation . Slowly we are building a deeper team but the talent just isn't there yet in enough places . Sitting our star CB , all rookie team RG, all pro bowl LG, and a starting dlineman was a tough choice considering only 30 points of healing was accomplished between all of them . To top it suffered two other injuries to dlineman totaling over 130 injury points. I knew it would be close, but hopefully not as close as it was .
The game was a win in the column but might as well been a loss to get a higher draft pick . This bunch of overachievers will fight tooth and nail to get in to the playoffs and right now this game shows how close of a second place run we all have on Seattle .
