Teams that finish below .500 (7 wins) in the last season they cannot trade away their 1st round pick.

Teams that finish with 5 wins or less cannot trade away their 1st or 2nd round picks.

I see both pros and cons to this one.

I'd argue that teams below .500 would be allowed to with the condition that the competition committee be unanimous in the decision to approve the trade. I feel like this way no team that is struggling is kept from improving their team while it also allows the trading of the first and second round picks to be held in check.

Im personally against most rules on trading. Leaving it up to the competition committee to veto the horribly lopsided trades and call it good.

Completely disagree with this proposal. Let the free market decide trades. There is no reason to restrict bad teams from trading any pick/player. It could all be part of a longer term strategy to build their team. I am against this proposal.

I am also against this idea. Keep the trading rules the same for everyone at all times.

Against this idea for many reasons, one of which is that often a team that has a poor season needs more than just one top prospect in order to turn the team around.

A trade will often serve them better if they are smart about it.

Agreed plus in a draft you can often get stuck where the only good players are positions you are already strong in, while having many other holes.

I am against this rule. It would really hamper a rebuilding effort in the future that teams will undoubtedly have to engage in. A high first round pick can easily turn into three early round picks which can jump start the effort.

As long as a trade makes sense for both teams and the owners from both teams clearly are managing their team then they should be able to trade. If they aren't that active or it doesent make much sense for one of the teams and is a unfair trade then don't hesitate to veto

just the cape ability of being able to veto it will hopefully stop any **** trades and if it doesent then the commish will.
