Good game GDB/Packers.....even up 24-6 at the half I wasn't feeling any sense of confidence, seen too many big comebacks in MFN and figured your team would come out passing and when you got it within 11 points in the third....I thought "yep here it comes".

Then the Oakland offense ground out that long drive, 14 plays,7 and half minutes, which can feel like an eternity in MFN, this seemed to be the clincher.

Always respect your teams GDB.....good luck in the playoffs.

NFC Playoff Possibilities

Okay here we are 2 games later and there has been 2 futures decided, Tampa Bay will be going to the playoffs and Carolina won’t. I am going to go through some of the scenarios, but to cover them all is almost impossible, but here are some of the ones I see. I think it will take 10 games to get into the playoffs, there is a chance 9 could do it, but the cards will have to fall in a certain way. Any tie would change the complexity even further and I won’t be looking at that possibility, lol.

NFC East

Washington 9-5
@Cleveland (toss up)
@Chicago (should win)

Dallas 8-5-1
Green Bay (toss up)
@Giants (toss up)

Division Winner Outlook
Obviously if each team loses both games, the division goes to Washington Dallas going home. If each team wins both games Washington wins the division, Dallas could win a wildcard. If the teams split the their final 2, Dallas most likely goes home, but could be in the running for the wildcard. Then of course Dallas could win their final 2 with Washington losing one or both and they would enter wildcard ****. This is the only division that is being determined by a majority of games outside their division.

NFC West

Seattle 9-5
@Los Angeles (toss up)
Arizona (toss up)

Los Angeles 9-5
Seattle (toss up)
@San Francisco (should win)

Arizona 8-6
San Francisco (should win)
@Seattle (toss up)

Division Winner Outlook
If Los Angeles or Seattle win both they win the division. If Arizona wins both, coupled with a Seattle win at Los Angeles, Arizona wins the division. If Arizona loses to San Francisco, they are out. In any other scenario the other two teams that don’t win the division will be in wildcard ****.

NFC North

Just Green Bay

NFC South

Tampa Bay 10-3-1
@New Orleans (toss up)
@Carolina (toss up)

New Orleans 9-5
Tampa Bay (toss up)
Atlanta (toss up)

Atlanta 8-6
Carolina (toss up)
@ New Orleans (toss up)

Division Winner Outlook
If Tampa beats New Orleans, they win the division. If New Orleans wins both remaining and Tampa loses both New Orleans wins the division and Tampa is the wildcard. Atlanta is in wildcard **** and must win at least one to stay there.

Greyghost Wildcard **** View
Okay I think it will take 10 wins as I said, but that is not written in stone. The teams I see right now that SHOULD get 10 not including Tampa are Los Angeles and Washington due to their opponents. They both have a weak opponent left and logic says that should be at least one victory, but as we know On Any Given Sunday.. If Atlanta and Arizona lose their next game, it will take a great event for either to make it. There are two HUGE games left, that is the week 16 games Atlanta at New Orleans and Arizona at Seattle. If all of those teams have won going into the contests. All four teams hold their playoff futures in their hands and both games will be wars. I am not sure if this helped clarify anything, but it sure confused me along the way.

Well. You can win one of two. Preferably the first.

That was a roller coaster ride ATL. Thought we had it. Thought we lost it. Had it then almost lost it.

A tough loss for us. We had a decent plan for passing, and our running game crashed out. We gotta win the rest from here.

GG Broncos. Your defense played great.

Another -4 turnover game for us. Second half we gave the bell away four straight drives. Defensive score and three other short drives and it turned into a blowout.

Paydirt Report: Week 14

It comes down to two more weeks to see who will get in and who will be stopped at the door. The AFC East is still up for grabs, and the Wild Card race is a wild one between 3 Wild Wild West teams. All the divisions on the NFC side is up for grabs except the North. The Wild Card race in the AFC is even a wilder one than the AFC.

Congrats to awest827 and jouameng for entering the 100 win club. The only one left to have a chance to join the club this year is voegma who sits at 99 wins.

Game of the week goes to the Pittsburgh Steelers win over division foe Cleveland Browns 14-13. As their is no love lost between these two teams it must be sweet redemption for the Steelers who are out of the playoff hunt, to knock off their division leading rivals and to put a monkey wrench into the Browns first round bye hopes. And they did it in dramatic fashion with a late 45 yd TD pass from QB Hamilton to RB Casper with 1:36 left. And an extra point had to be made into a stiff 10 mph wind to seal the deal. Now on to the rest of the PFL.

AFC
West
Oakland(12-2) has clinched the division and is battling Miami(12-2) for home field advantage. But the big story is the rest of the division madness. Kansas City's(9-5) win over San Diego(9-5) knotts up the battle for the last AFC wild card spot. Denver(9-5) wins also as the three teams have 2 weeks to settle the deal. Who will it be?

East
Miami(12-2) keeps winning and by winning I mean a league leading 9th straight. The only problem is.........Buffalo(11-3) keeps winning as well. With their 7th consecutive victory. The Bills haven't lost since losing to the Dolphins back in week 7. Miami hasn't lost since week 5 and you guessed it, to Buffalo. They both get a shot at New England(3-11) and NY Jets(3-11) these last two weeks. A great opportunity for both the Patriots and the Jets to stick it to the man and turn everything upside down.

North
Cleveland(10-4) can be in cruise mode now as their playoff ticket has been punched and a shot at a first round bye is pretty dim. Their smiling in Pittsburgh(6-8) after their thrilling victory over the Browns this week. Baltimore(5-9) lost their 5th straight while Cincinnati(4-9-1) wins to get their GM one game closer to that magic 100 win mark.

South
Houston(11-3) bounces back with a win and still has an outside shot at a first round bye. Jacksonville(6-8), Indianapolis(4-10 and Tennessee(2-12) are just waiting for 1978 to come to an end.

NFC
East
Washington(9-5) and Dallas(8-5-1) both win again to race for that NFC East title. With Dallas having the tougher schedule to finish the year, the edge has to go to Washington. This will be fun to watch to see how it plays out. NY Giants(7-7) and Philadelphia(2-11-1) are trying to figure out where to watch the playoffs.

West
Seattle(9-5) has tied Los Angeles(9-5) for the division lead again. They will face off head to head this week in a huge game. Arizona(8-6) has battled their way back into the picture and will play Seattle in week 16 in what could be a win and your in game. San Francisco(0-14) is just trying to save zdowntime's job. They need a win in either of their last two games.

North
Nothing to see here as Green Bay(11-3) had this division locked up in week 2. They have clinched a first round bye and are working towards that important home field advantage. Detroit(4-10), Minnesota(4-10) and Chicago(2-12) players have already had their exit interviews.

South
Tampa Bay(10-3-1) clings to a 1.5 game lead in the south over the surprising New Orleans Saints(9-5). These two teams will battle it out this week in another huge division game. Atlanta(8-6) is on life support after going down with their 3rd loss in a row. Carolina(6-8) is in a prime position to play a spoiler role with division rivals.

Games to Watch Week 15
Baltimore @ Kansas City
San Diego @ Cincinnati
Denver @ Detroit
Green Bay @ Dallas
Washington @ Cleveland
San Francisco @ Arizona
Seattle @ Los Angeles - Battle Royale
Carolina @ Atlanta
NY Jets @ Miami
Buffalo @ New England
Tampa Bay @ New Orleans - Battle Royale

GG New Orleans,

A tight close Battle Royal indeed,that 50yd run with 2 mins to go from Butler,with 4 Bucc`s players trying to get him to ground was a killer.

You have a better team than us at this stage of the season.

One more big effort needed.

GG Pittsburgh

We got a big play at the end to win it. It was a pretty good game throughout.
