GG Seattle, Can't win games dropping wide open passes in the end zone,.. that you didn't drop the previous 12 games..

Question, Am I just cheating myself by not just having 10 WR and no RB's?... cause honestly I try to keep it as realistic as possible but the people I lose to most often seem to have similar lineups to yours.

Ya that seems to be the trend if you can keep em healthy.
In reality you wouldnt think 95% of them would be able to run inside. That could be me being old fashion though.

GG voegma/Bengals. Going against you always means a close game is coming where I'm going to sweat blood to get the win.

BTW, the Miami Dolphins already clinched a Playoffs spot. We are coming.

The Paydirt Report: Week 13

Playoff spots are starting to fill up as teams begin punching their tickets to the dance. Miami, Houston, Seattle and Tampa Bay have all punched theirs. 14 teams have punched their e tickets.

An unidentified source in Indianapolis has leaked that GM DJSim22 is on the hot seat. They also state that they currently have not had contact with any other potential GM's and if they dont find the right fit they will offer DJ an extension. We are getting the same message from from Chicago and Minnesota. In Philadelphia our sources are say that if John97334 wins 2 out of the remaining 3 games, he will get an extension. Now lets take a look at week 13.

AFC
West
This division race just keeps getting hotter and hotter. San Diego(10-3) leads the way as they win their 3rd straight. Denver(9-4) wins to stay hot on their trail. With Kansas City's(8-5) tough loss to Houston they drop into Wild Card mode with Oakland(8-5) who is on a late season roll. Oakland plays Kansas City and San Diego their next two games. After Oakland, KC has the easier schedule of the four teams. Denver prolly has the toughest as they'll face San Diego, Jets and Seattle to close out the season. The Chargers have Denver and Oakland on their schedule yet.

East
Miami(11-2) has clinched the East Title for their fifth division banner in the last 6 years. This is their 4th in a row. Congrats to Androwski and that great accomplishment. The NY Jets(9-4) are in the midst of a torrid Wild Card Battle. They will have Buffalo, Denver and Cincinnati in their way. Buffalo(6-7) Has a great opportunity to play spoiler in that game. New England(5-8) is all but playing for pride

North
Cincinnati(8-5) has a two game lead over Cleveland(6-7) but isn't making it easy on themselves with a loss this week. But Cleveland couldn't capitalize. Pittsburgh(5-8) continues to play good football but have already got an e in the mail. Baltimore(1-12) is struggling mightily.

South
Houston(9-4) owns the 1979 AFC South title and is trying to gain some momentum going into the playoffs. Tennessee(5-8) has lost less than Indianapolis(4-8) and Jacksonville(4-8). They're all saying next year. Hopefully next year will come for Indianapolis' DJSim22. The fans in Indy love him but the ownership is not too sure. We'll stay on this story.

NFC
East
Dallas(8-5) is all so close to clinching their 2nd divisional championship in 3 years. But Philadelphia(5-7-1) has postponed the Cowboys celebration another week with a win of their own. Washington(3-10) and NY Giants(1-11-1) can't wait for the 1980 draft class to come out.

West
Seattle(12-1) is cruising but is having some injury issues as of late. This could be a concern this late in the year. A lil something to keep an eye on. Arizona(5-8), San Francisco(4-9) and Los Angeles(4-9) have all had disappointing seasons. But all three teams have spoiler opportunities coming up in the next three games.

North
The race continues between Detroit(10-3) and Green Bay(9-4). The Packers got the break they were looking for when the Lions lost too Seattle in week 13. Detroit finishes the race with games against Miami and Green Bay in week 16. Green Bay has a tough road ahead with games against Miami, Tampa Bay and the Lions. Both Chicago(4-9) and Minnesota(0-13) jobs are in doubt if their ownership can find suitors.

South
Tampa Bay (12-1) has 10 straight wins to their name but still have Carolina(11-2) right on their butts. New Orleans(8-5) has fallen off and are playing for their playoff lives. Atlanta(3-10) might have a lil something to say about the Saints chances as they will face one more time.

Games to Watch in Week 14
Oakland @ Kansas City
Denver @ San Diego
Miami @ Green Bay
Carolina @ Cleveland
New Orleans @ Tampa Bay

Note:
Players of the week is delayed as the player awards keeps spinning on MFN site.

Right, it's not going to be totally realistic but you don't often see an actual WR line up to take handoffs through the tackles in the NFL. If they do line up behind the Qb it's usually some misdirection/rollout/trick play. You do see RB's line up wide sometimes. Is there a modifier applied to injuries for lighter players (WR) on "run plays" where the WR is in the RB position,? Seems like an easy way to fix that. But in any case You can just have 10 of them lol. Maybe ill try it in another league at the start. I really hope it's addressed at least for the sake of realism. It must be strange for a newer player to look at rosters with 10 WR, no RBs, or 1 C and 8 LT's , 1 DT and 8 RDE's.. ha

Yes jdb said the injuries depend on player weights and other things. Maybe were ahead of the NFL as far as trends eh? lol But we wont know that for years to come. And that's if someone looks back to now. The Packers did turn a WR into a RB that did run inside. But he had size and was still injured a lot.

gg Jcruz, you are as tough as usual, sorry I couldn't give you a better contest this time around, but my season pretty much ended 3 games ago. Hopefully will be able to give you a better game in the future, good luck in the playoffs.

GG. ghost. Turnovers were the difference in this one. Otherwise, you piled up quite a few yards.

It's a bit premature to say I'll be in the playoffs. Two tough division rivals stand in the way. See you down the road.
