Re: What's the Point in Having So Many Teams?

thats lame to be honest. I think there is a huge difference in trying a new offense or defensive strategy and calling one or two plays all game to see what happens. Hopefully we will never have that in the main leagues cause that's ridiculous.

I do it for three reasons:

1) Test game plans: the more film I have the better. Did you know an offense based around two TEs was completely viable? Neither did I. Then I did this: https://cust17.myfootballnow.com/team/view/2 (172 TE catches from my TE1 and TE2 through 12 games)

2) Fill up leagues: no one wants to play the CPU game after game (well, if the choice is play the CPU or play WarEagle, Lellow, blackflys, or me...).

3) Rebuild dumpster fires: don't you hate seeing teams that have one or two super stars, but then a roster full of ****? I do.

1. Just so there's no misunderstanding, my earlier comments weren't referring to you setherick.

2. I don't consider this team to be an example of what I was referring to earlier. I can't see how many plays you are running on Offense and Defense, but I assume you're not just running a few of each. It looks like you've been competitive and successful with this team, while also being able to develop a new strategy. Good job.

What? I was responding to the OP. What'd I miss? I guess I should have quoted the OP there.

Ha!

Your comment came so close after I posted mine I assumed you were responding to something I had said.

The code is to blame . Tighten it up that's it ...this subject is board line judgement. The majority of answers you will get are the shared ones only. Not really giving you any sort of what is real except those particular gamers. I mean we play under the same time rules.

I would say its a game and most guys just do whatever they want. A tight code would have no room for this besides a conversation piece with a hint of judgment.

I think all top owners have the time restrains similar to wareagle. But we all care how we spend our personal time differently at different times . So.....

This game is a long time commitment game. Nobody knows the future why limit yourself. Ever.

But my reason to be in all leagues would be to say you had a chance to win a title in every league. That's it . Maybe I will one day!

That's my new test. 58 more days and I will be in every league! Me , pun, rolltide, who else am I missing?

I know of an owner who uses multiple leagues to test different strategies, such as:
League A: 100% goal line defense
League B: 100% pass offense
League C: 100% rush offense
League D: 100% dime defense
etc., etc.
Some of his teams win games, most do not.

there you go assuming once again about what someone else is doing.

1st off if you are refering to me thats not what i am doing heck if you could see all my teams they pretty much have the same thing or setup same way in that i am not testing different things in all my leagues.

2nd off here is a wild thought WHY DONT YOU WORRY ABOUT YOURSELF?

you dont know the future

i am just tired of people accusing others of cheating and assuming those people are doing something

i just get tired of people screwing each other over , throwing each other under the bus ,etc. when in reality they should worry about themselves or concern themselves only with themselves.
