i find it funny that league one is the only league for trying new plays or strategies when not all of us have access to even be in the league. So only the select people in that league can experiment? As for fielding winning teams, i think you can implement new plays and try new things and still when a lot of games.

i think really that is narrow minded in saying you can only use MFN 1 league to try new plays or strategies because really how many people would be willingly to stay here and play this game if they could only test things in only 1 league.

And thats why i have said and believe firmly that members on this game like War Eagle are the ones who are going to destroy this game by making it where you can only test things in MFN 1 and making everyone who is not in that league leave this game that much faster.

you dont know the future

i am just tired of people accusing others of cheating and assuming those people are doing something

i just get tired of people screwing each other over , throwing each other under the bus ,etc. when in reality they should worry about themselves or concern themselves only with themselves.

I just defended you and one minute before you posted.....

I know of an owner who uses multiple leagues to test different strategies, such as:
League A: 100% goal line defense
League B: 100% pass offense
League C: 100% rush offense
League D: 100% dime defense
etc., etc.
Some of his teams win games, most do not.

there you go assuming once again about what someone else is doing.

1st off if you are refering to me thats not what i am doing heck if you could see all my teams they pretty much have the same thing or setup same way in that i am not testing different things in all my leagues.

2nd off here is a wild thought WHY DONT YOU WORRY ABOUT YOURSELF?

I just re-read my post and I what I remembered typing is correct.

I never mentioned the words "cheat" or "punisher". I don't pay any attention to what you are doing with your teams unless we happen to have a game against each other.

BTW, saying someone uses 100% goal line defense (or pass offense, etc.) is not an assumption if in fact they are.

Yes it is a assumption because if that person isnt using a goal line defense or even a pass offense anymore then it is assumption/accusation/slander.

that would be like saying War Eagle is Bill Gates (assumption or assuming)

well i am sorry about that but i had to go OFF and say what i had to say .

In that i wish people would quit assuming , call others a cheater , etc. that they do on this web site because really it looks bad on us we all do that to each other on this site.

Wow, guys!!! I appreciate & respect all the feedback on this post. I'm glad so many responded.
I would have preferred it to stay focused on OP, but it's cool.
I hope to hear from others. Whether new or old players, I would love explanations & opinions on this subject. :)

I, myself, run 6 teams. They all have games on the same day. For now it is all I desire. I'm still in the 1st season with all but one (Houston in Custom-28). I am anxious to see how my teams mature with the effort I have been putting forth. :D

I understand that many of the "older members" have quite a few teams that they have on "auto-pilot". My question is: Why would you NOT want to limit your teams to 6 or so? You could focus more on roster management, gameplanning, drafting, & trading.

I know almost all of you already have championships under your belt & that the game is somewhat easier for you. I just think "auto-pilot" takes the fun out of the game. I know most of the competition is in 75 & 10. I just wonder what the other Leagues would look like if the "lesser" GM's didn't have to worry about facing your "auto-pilot" monsters.

I made this post for discussion & thoughts from all. Not to cause trouble or point fingers. I'm genuinely curious what EVERYONE thinks about this.

Thanks for taking the time to respond,

I have two teams and it is one too many, IMO. Cheers.

I have 6 teams, and it's too many for me. the problem is that I am very good at picking up teams and not very good at dropping them! I get very attached to my teams, generally for different reasons. I've succeeded in dropping 2 teams, but recently picked another one up, I don't learn.

I spend most of my time on my 75 team, probably 80% of my MFN time is dedicated to this one league, with trying to keep up with the gameplanning and writing articles. It's nice, the other leagues are fun, but it's not a disaster when I lose. In 75, every loss is absolutely devastating. I know there can only be 32 owners in a league and there are more really committed owners that would thoroughly enjoy being in a league like 75.

*controversial point coming up*

IMHO a few owners have multiple teams so they can make favourable trades in one league to garner a favour in another.

Like or lump it, thats what I think

I've actually had that offered once or twice, I prefer to win as much as possible with each and every team so I haven't done it, but it probably does happen from time to time.

I have 2 Teams. Each is an attempt at learning a specific part of the game.
