Week 11 saw a thriller at the Orange Bowl, a thriller @ Lambeau and, a thriller @ Arrowhead. Miami was the only one of those three home teams to come away with a victory. With one more week until the 4th quarter of our season every win and loss plays huge for contending teams. Lets see how they faired.
AFC West San Diego(8-3) knocked off Kansas City(7-4) in a heck of a game, ending the Chiefs 6 game win streak. With the win the Super Chargers hold onto a share of the Wild Wild West lead with the for real Denver Broncos(8-3). Oakland(6-5) wins their second in a row to continue their desperate push for a playoff spot. Oakland and Denver will face off next week.
East With Miami's(9-2) win they stay just ahead of NY Jets(8-3) who are keeping the pressure on for that East title. The Dolphins have put together a 5 game win streak on their push to the top of the East. Buffalo(5-6) has won 3 straight and maintain their 3rd spot while New England(3-8) loses their 3rd straight to bring up the tail.
North Cincinnati(7-4) wins to stay ahead of division rival Cleveland(6-5) who also won. Pittsburgh(4-7) has won their last 3 out 5 games but lose to Buffalo in week 11. Baltimore(1-10) continues to spiral.
South Houston(7-4) goes down for the second week in a row. If it's any consolation they were against two quality opponents. But your going to have to beat quality opponents in the playoffs so the Texans must be searching a little. Tennessee(5-6) wins to close up within striking distance at 2 games back. Both Jacksonville(4-7) and Indianapolis(4-7) trail the heap.
NFC East Dallas(6-5) opens up a one and a half game lead over Philadelphia(4-6-1) who lost to the Saints. Washington(3-8) and NY Giants(0-9-1) are pretty much out of contention with the Giants getting the big e.
West Seattle(10-1) is in cruise control mode as the narrowly get by the 49ers(4-7) who lost their 4th straight. Arizona(4-7) pulled off a stunning victory over Green Bay in Paydirt's Game of the Week. Los Angeles(3-8) got an e card in the mail to officially eliminate the Rams in 1979. They are a hot mess since greyghost1225 left them for Jacksonville.
North Detroit(9-2) gets a lil breathing room with their 6th straight win and a shocking loss by Green Bay(7-4). The two teams will battle it out in week 16. Chicago(3-8) and Minnesota(0-11) cant seem to buy a win. Not even as spoilers.
South The NFC South continue to be a log jam of a race with Tampa Bay(10-1) leading the way with New Orleans(9-2) and Carolina(8-3) hot on the Bucs trail. Carolina brings their show to New Orleans in week 12. Atlanta(3-8) received their e and can't wait to try and spoil the Saints and Panthers party when they meet them in the next few weeks.
Games to Watch: Week 12 Oakland @ Denver Dallas @ Philadelphia Carolina @ New Orleans New York Jets @ Green Bay
