GG BeerC/SF, we got lucky on the punt blocks, "Big Deal" Davis continues with his sub 60 QBr, his first pass of the game was a pick near our 10! He had a much better 2nd half and at least didnt throw another pick after the 3rd one. If he doesnt improve it will be worst trade Ive made in MFN. Hard to figure, when a QB has all 100 skills, 100 intell, why he doesnt perform better.

His QBr has improved every game. He'll be very good soon.
After a brief absence do to summer time fun in the sun the Paydirt Report is here for a week 9 update. There's been a lil movement in the division races since the last report and some unexpected stuff to go along with it. There are no undefeated teams left and 2 teams without a win in New York Giants and Minnesota Vikings. So lets get to the division updates.
AFC West San Diego(7-2) has wrestled the West lead away from Denver(6-3) who is tied for second with surging Kansas City(6-3) who has won 5 straight. Oakland(4-5) has carried the Beercloud annual predictions jinx to a new level. But there is still time to rebound. They will have to act fast though or they'll be planning for the off-season soon.
East Miami(7-2) and NY Jets(7-2) have been a tremendous battle for the AFC East division crown. The Dolphins hold the tie breaker as they have swept the division series with the Jets. Both Buffalo(3-6) and New England(3-6) struggles continue in 1979 and take up company in the cellar.
North One of the surprises this season has been the lack of dominance from the North. Usually either Cleveland(5-4) or Cincinnati(5-4) are in the running for home field advantage in the AFC. Cincinnati hit that age barrier and is reload mode. Could Cleveland be hitting that same plateau? Pittsburgh(3-6) sitting in third is still in it. Baltimore(1-8) who's franchise has never made the playoffs in Paydirt's history takes up the rear again this season.
South Houston(7-2) has firm control over the AFC South division. Seeking their 2nd consecutive division banner, they are currently riding a 4 game win streak. Jacksonville(4-5) and Tennessee(4-5) have shown some life and are trying to stay in a wild card race with multiple other AFC teams. Indianapolis(3-6) is one game behind the Jags and Titans.
NFC East Dallas(4-5) leads a struggling division thus far in 79'. With Washington(3-6) taking a beating this year and NY Giants(0-8-1) sinking to the depths of the winless, that leaves only Philadelphia(3-5-1) with an improvement over last season midway through.
West Seattle(8-1) is in a runaway for their 7th division crown. San Francisco(4-5), Arizona(3-6) and Los Angeles(2-7) all trail by a lot. The NFC West banner is already packed away and ready to be shipped to Seattle.
North The North has an epic battle going on for their division title between Detroit(7-2) and Green Bay (6-3). While the Lions are on a roll winning 4 straight the Packers went out and traded for highly tauted QB Miguel Davis to help them make a late season push to chase down Detroit. Chicago(3-6) and Minnesota(0-9) are playing out the season.
South Talk about an epic battle for a division championship, Tampa Bay(8-1), New Orleans(7-2) and Carolina(7-2) have got one going on. As Tampa Bay rolls to their 6th straight victory, New Orleans wins a huge game over Carolina to keep the top 3 all within a game of each other. Atlanta(3-6) who had high hopes when the season started has not found their bearings and trails the South.
