Good luck GB. If we lose I forgot to game plan. If we win, it was a masterful one. Just hedging my bets. Cheers.

Ice Cold

Cheers Mac & Crazy, and yeah, highly recommend scouting & gameplanning, it makes a big difference. And I will drink an Ice Cold to that one.

I just love how we chide each other about stuff. lol I'm an abrasive little sh** and all of you guys know that. We all have our quirks & personalities. That's what makes this game enjoyable. :)

Gg Carolina Panthers
Glad I don’t have to play you twice a year as a division rival, you’re tuff as nails!
Should be interesting team next season, with all those draft picks.
I’m sure you’ll be right back in the playoffs

The Paydirt Report: Wild Card Weekend

Quoting independent beat writer punisher, this is the 4th season in a row that home and away teams split on Wild Card Weekend. And this year both Wild Card teams won in the AFC while both Division champions won in the NFC. How will it be in the Divisional Round?

AFC
Buffalo 20
Cleveland 19

What a historic playoff game this was. Buffalo one of the hottest teams entering the playoffs pulls off an upset over AFC North champs Cleveland 20-19 on a 35 yd TD pass from QB Bishop to WR Yagi with 0:31 left in the game. The Bills defense came up big in this one with 3 picks from Browns QB Hosea. Cleveland came up with 3 Buffalo turnovers themselves. But all that will forever be overshadowed by the 6 play 75 yd game winning drive engineered by the Bills QB Bishop. Great game.

Denver 24
Houston 17

Another team entering the playoffs red hot is the Denver Broncos. Denver took over the lead in the 2nd quarter and hung on to win by a touchdown. Houston dominated the stats board but 3 costly interceptions by Texans QB Lopez. They made a flurry of a comeback attempt late but the dagger was the interception by Denver's CB Leroy Love in the end zone on a 3rd and 1 on the Broncos 1 yd line. That ended a stellar 89 yd drive by the Texans and put the game just out of reach. The Texans would mount another TD drive. This one being successful by they were unable to recover the always tense onside kick. Three kneel downs later and the Broncos rewarded their GM broncos7nuggets with his first Paydirt playoff victory.

NFC
Green Bay 38
New Orleans 17

A brutal 2nd half comeback negated all the work the Saints did in the 1st half who at one point had a 17-7 point lead late in the 2nd quarter. Packer QB Miguel Davis closed that gap to 17-14 with a 17 yd TD strike to WR William Johnson with 0:33 left in the half. That was the only catch Johnson would have all day but a big one it was. It seem to shift the big mo Green Bay's way and once they wrestled the laed back from New Orleans early in the 3rd they never looked back.

Dallas 13
Carolina 7

On a beautiful 70 degree day in Dallas, the Cowboys faced a powerful wild card team in the Panthers. Dallas would open up with 2 first quarter field goals to grab an early 6-0 lead. Carolina would gather up their composure and strike back in the 2nd on a 3yd TD pass from QB Dewey Sherer to WR McNeely to grab the lead 7-6 which they would take to the half time locker room. Dallas fans had worried looks on their faces as they were slow getting back to their seats from the beer stands to get ready for the 2nd half kickoff. Dem Cowboys would answer the bell in the 2nd half in a big way. The no name defense came up with 5 2nd half interceptions including 4 in a row and added a fumble recovery late in the 4th to seal the deal. Dallas would take advantage of the Panthers 2nd INT of the half and converting it into a go ahead and eventual game winning TD. Texas stadium erupted and the sound of the gun to end the game.

Divisional Round
Saturday
Early Game
Dallas @ Seattle

Late Game
Buffalo @ Kansas City

Sunday
Early Game
Denver @ Miami

Late Game
Green Bay @ Tampa Bay

The Paydirt Report: Week 16

Not much to write about in week 16, except there were a few good games. Especially the Cincinnati / Baltimore game with the Bengals winning it 22-21.

But right now it's the calm before the storm. All eyes are on Wild Card Weekend.

Wild Card Weekend Lineup
Saturday Early Game
Buffalo @ Cleveland

Saturday Late Game
New Orleans @ Green Bay

Sunday Early Game
Carolina @ Dallas

Sunday Late Game
Denver @ Houston

Whaaat? We beat the bleeping Saints! Plenty to talk about, we never beat the Saints! I wanted my 15 mionutes before the playoffs!!! :)

GG Bills/$B$Dog$ (great name too). You had us on the ropes at the half! INT's and penalties were pretty even. The 2 fumbles hurt you a bit. 9 yr. veteran CB Roman Morgan may have earned his contract extension with that late game pick and return for 33 yds. to set up the winning TD. You've really done an excellent job with the Bills this season. I look forward to our future battles. Have a great off season...................................MM

On to face the srceaming HOT!Bronco's (for the LC) who came to Arrowhead and handed us a 27-15 loss in week 13. The game had 9 INt's a fumble and six penalties sloppy play by both teams....We hope to improve on that showing.....Good luck Bnug/Bronco's...........................................MM

Fun Fact: The chiefs recorded thier second sellout since the '74 season! They went 6 years and two weeks between sell outs from '74 till '80. Ironically, both of the recent sellouts have been against the Buffalo Bills! .........................................MM

GG Broncos. Another disappointing season finale for the Dolphins. My starting QB Erik Fiorini playing like trash didn't help.
