The Paydirt Report: Week 3The undefeated count is now down to 6. A couple of big games in week 3. One being the Buffalo Bills taking down the Miami Dolphins 27-17 in a Battle Royale game. Another battle of division leaders was Houston beating Green Bay 13-12. The Game of the week went to Chicago's 17-16 victory over division rival Minnesota on a 43 yd FG on the last play of the game. But have to mention the thriller in the Hoosier Dome between Indianapolis and Cincinnati. The Bengals made the two hr drive up to Indy and played lights out jumping out to a 31-7 lead in the 3rd quarter. For everyone who turned the channel then missed out on a flury of action as the Colts came back and closed it up to 38-36 with under 2 minutes to play. The Colts forced a quick 3 and out and preserved :57 left by using the last of their timeouts. But it would end there as Indy's QB Curtis checked down on some passes that did not work as he had hoped. Lets see what happened with the rest of the league.

Carolina(2-1) stays hot on their heals with another win. New Orleans(0-3) is off to a tough start but once they sort things out, they too could be a force in the division.
