Unless I am mistaken, none of these position rules have been enforced for a while. It is pretty much a given the top contenders are all wr on offense and mostly cb on def.
As for keeping weights up, both the league of legends and beast mode still keep the big boy positions honest and have openings. One is drafting now, the other about to start playoffs. The heavy leagues are much lower scoring and struggle to maintain full ownership, all the full leagues I’ve seen have given up position restrictions to promote offense and competition.
