GG Rams. Pretty good for a team "with no defense". ;)

GG Cards, speaking of defense, yours is very good. This is going to be a long, developmental year for my players. Year 2 is always the hardest, especially with my schedule. See ya next time.

Thanks. Were on the other end of the spectrum, win now, because the fall off is going to be bad this off-season. Best of luck until we meet again.

The Paydirt Report: Week 1

And they're off. We dive into the 1978 season with a few doooooozies.

The game of the week was a baseball score of 6-5 with New England topping their division foes the New York Jets. Miami picked up where they left off and start the season in the win column along with the Buffalo Bills.

San Diego, Washington and Jacksonville all lit up the scoreboard with the Chargers topping them all putting up 52 against Pittsburgh. The AFC West opened up with San Diego, Oakland and Kansas City all winning. Denver's rookie GM broncos7nuggetts got a rude welcoming from the Raiders in his Paydirt debut. Cleveland the lone winner in the AFC North while Jacksonville and Indianapolis are out of the gates with win number one.

Washington and the New York football Giants win their openers while the NFC West looks to once again be a fierce battle between two-time Super Bowl champion Seattle Seahawks and the the up and coming Arizona Cardinals. Detroit and Green Bay look like the cream of the crop in the NFC's North early going. And Tampa Bay looks strong again this year with their early season win.

Games to watch Week 2:
San Diego @ Green Bay - Battle Royale
Oakland @ Detroit - Battle Royale
Dallas @ Cincinnati
Jacksonville @ Cleveland - Battle Royale
New England @ Tampa Bay
Miami @ Carolina
Indianapolis @ New York Jets

GG Bronco's you hung in there well. It was tough to lose by a missed extra point? IDK why my coach (who is notorious for late game **** ups) didn't just go for the conversion and try to win! The Chargers lose (and get shut out), The Raiders are 2-0 (not predicted to make the post season). Up is down .....down is up! Wht da ****? Only one thing comes to mind..more powerful than the sports illustrated cover jinx... LOL MM

Good *** kicking Bufffalo. I thought we had a chance prior to kickoff but we couldn’t stop you all game. Not once.

Good game Jets.

We were one of several teams to lose by a point this week. More painfully as 13 point underdogs, we led 16-10 with :13 seconds left. So close to 2-0.

GG Panthers. After two games, I can say I don't like this 4.5 version. I'm tired of all the missed throws and dropped passes.

gg Hellbringer, lol I think. It seems we both have our issues. I am not sure what I did to my game plan, but 100 total yards. You seem to be trying out some new kicking strategy with your CB. I breath a sigh of relief to win this one.

Good game Detroit....as tough a game as I anticipated, right down to the wire.
