The Paydirt Report: Week 16The stage is set and the actors have take their places. Let the show begin.
The Kansas City Chiefs stamp the last ticket to the dance with a win over the 49ers. Oakland wins over Arizona but loses out on the tie breaker. The Chiefs got a slow start but steadied the ship and went on a nice run in the middle of the season which catapulted them into contention. The Raiders had a similar start to the season and finish strong only to come up short. Denver had a great season going but fell apart late losing their last 3 in a row to close the season out.
The other big story in week 16 was the Game of the Week. Green Bay won a thriller over Detroit 44-41. The Lions still win the division by a deep tie breaker. It is their 4th NFC North division title. One short of Green Bays 5. These two will face off again in the Wild Card round. Cant wait for that.
Congrats to San Diego, Miami, Cincinnati, Houston, Dallas, Seattle, Detroit and Tampa Bay on their division championships. San Diego and Seattle have the home field advantages while Miami and Tampa Bay earned a first round bye.
