GG Jets. You avoided the TOs and I did not. Evenly played except for that. GL to you.

Good Game Cincy/Voegma after losing our last game to your squad I wasn't sure we could pull this one off. It was a good close game and that all I asked of my squad.

You have a great team and I am sure you will continue your success. See you next season

GG Duval/Lions, too many picks thrown by "Big Deal" and we still had no answer for getting burned by Pennypacker. Put Haynes at CB2 but that didnt change much, time to get a new 80+ speed DB. GL rest of the playoffs and see you next season.

The Chargers swept the Chiefs this season, but could have lost both games had they not been lucky. Winning a third time will be asking a lot from my team.

The Chiefs have momentum and are the sentimental favorites. GL, MM.

Thanks man, this was my first playoff win in this league and second time making the playoffs. It was a good season. Offense was 7th is scoring, Defense was 1st in scoring until the last game against you lol, Carolina I think was a point or to higher and then I blew past them with that 44 you hung on me. Still came in 2nd in scoring and 1st in yards from scrimmage, even so.. I completely scrapped the defensive plan against you for this match.. the dump off routes to the RB's and the FB run were huge plays for your team this year. I noticed my defense getting burned in certain formations as I generally don't entirely game plan for one opponent, although in the playoffs I do, so I made some adjustments there. I think I did a fairly decent job of holding down the massive and consistent yards you gain from those plays. I think some of the adjustments in the passing game may have contributed big time to those 5 picks. If it takes an entire game plan, and Davis can still hang a few on you even when you are pretty certain you know whats coming.. It's gonna be a great NFC North for many seasons.. now we just need one of these NFC North sleepers to sneak up and rofl-stomp both of us next season for the division lol. GG man.. pls don't draft a CB next year, ty

The Paydirt Report: Wild Card Weekend

Wild Card Weekend is off like a bang. Some upsets were had in the opening round. And a week 16 rematch that no matter which team won it wasn't gonna be an upset. And the results will create some interesting match ups in the Divisional Championship round. Lets get right to it.

Kansas City 21
Houston 20

Kansas City upsets Houston in a game where all the scoring was done in the first half. A lot of action was had in the first half. The second half was all about Kansas City holding on for the win. The Chiefs reward? A 3rd game with their division rival the San Diego Chargers. This lost for Houston was a heart breaker. Most viewers expected the Texans to go deep into the playoffs. They had a good year and all the playoff teams in the AFC seem pretty even. This could've been the year for them but they'll have to wait another year.

NY Jets 19
Cincinnati 17

This game was an all out battle. The NY Jets grabbed an early 10-0 lead in the 2nd quarter and then the Bengals answered to make it 10-7. From there they would slug it out with the Jets kicking their go ahead and eventual game winning FG midway through the 4th quarter. The Jets would then use defense and some clock eating ball control to seal Cincinnati's fate. The Jets will move on to face their division rival the Miami Dolphins.

Detroit 48
Green Bay 23

Green Bay struck first midway through the opening quarter to go up 7-0. After that it was all Detroit in a rout. Aided by the Lions defense which picked off Packer QB Miguel Davis 5 time in the game. The Lions QB Vincent Moses had a stellar day confusing the Green Bay defense all day. He ended up with 17-38 513 yds 6 TD 1 Int. The Lions will move on to face the powerhouse Tampa Bay Buccaneers in the next round of the playoffs.

Dallas 21
Carolina 10

The Dallas Cowboys pulled off the biggest upset of Wild Card Weekend with a 21-10 victory over the 14-2 Carolina Panthers. The Cowboys jumped out to a 21-10 half time lead and let their defense do the work to shut down the Panthers powerful run game in the second half. Carolina is not build to come from behind and Dallas masterfully played to Carolina's weakness. The Cowboys move on to face Super Bowl X favorites Seattle Seahawks.

Divisional Championship Round
Kansas City @ San Diego
New York Jets @ Miami
Detroit @ Tampa Bay
Dallas @ Seattle

GL to you as well sir. I'm happy to have another chance at the Chargers this season. Since I became GM sometime in 73 our record is 4-10. I think you and seth had played both games in 73 though. I can't remember? So we may be 2-10. Either way the chargers have owned us. We lost 10 in a row from Nov 74 to Dec 78! Toooo long of a streak for my liking. It's always a tough game when we meet and I would expect no less this time around sir

IDK about momentum and sentiment that sounds like the stuff that can get us beat....lol! I do hope we get a good sim. (not too much 4.5 cursed) See you in sunny San Diego!.................MM

I would think Miami , San Diego , Seattle and Tampa Bay have to be happy playing at home because 2 home teams (Dallas Cowboys and Detroit Lions) won in the wildcard round .

Same for Dallas , Detroit , Kansas City and New York Jets have to be happy playing on the road because 2 road teams (Kansas City Chiefs and New York Jets) won in the wildcard round

Good Game Cowboys, surprised my team played as badly as they did.. Especially Sheets who was on fire all year up until this game. Your team simply outplayed us. Good Luck rest of the way!

You are in my opinion an outstanding owner GM! Really I mean that, after last nights game, for all the game planning that I undertook, I am completely exhausted! And I thank the stars that it worked out in my favour for a change LOL! You are no doubt rebuilding, with all those excessive
Future draft picks, all I can worry about is with the way you draft and trade, I’m a little worried as to what the Panthers will do during the off-season and for years to come! I guess I just got lucky by the role of the dice on this one is all it comes down to!

Awhile on the other side Dallas , Detroit , Kansas City and New York Jets have to be dreading playing on the road because only 1 team (New York Jets) won on the road though maybe the Jets arent dreading it as much as the other 3 teams because they did it once so maybe they think they will do it again.

I don't mean to poke holes in your theory sir but KC was on the road in Houston. As the 6th seed we won't have a home game in the post season. Doesn't matter home or road the chargers always give us fits. It's gonna be a good game No doubt! .................MM
