"restricting to midweeks isn't anymore fair especially to ppl such as myself and others who may only have time to do trades and game planning on game days"

What about being fair to everyone else and being true to the spirit of the game - which is to do only fair trades? I'm not saying that the last trades done before the deadline were unfair. Only that the community had little to no time to review it. Not to mention communicating with Beercloud and then allowing sufficient time to seek input (votes).

I wonder how many people can check messages to review trades or make or respond to trade offers only on game day. Not many I expect. Here we are at mid-week and yet you have time to check on and respond to this thread - but you wouldn't have time to tender or respond to trade offers or check trades?

this still feels unnecessary i mean your talking about handling trades from the final trade week why make a rule to affect the other 7 weeks just because there was one controversial trade that possibly may never happen again.

Again, I'm not saying that the last trades done before the deadline were unfair. Only that the community has little to no time to review any trade made on game day - whether in the preseason or during the season. Then having to communicate with Beercloud and getting timely input (votes) is virtually impossible before the game is played and the trade is consummated..

I get what your saying but also think about the other side what happens when your in talks to trade and both sides are struggling to make it happen this rule would make people wait another day or on weekends multiple days to accept it could hurt offers or possibly cause people to miss several weeks of acquiring what they need because it's the wrong day to accept the offer. I don't think it's totally fair in that regard or for the community to have time to review but I also have been in the league for 5 seasons and in that time 5 trades were reviewed and only 2 were reversed. To me I dont feel it warrants a rule for as little as it occurs

Maybe more trades would be reviewed and reversed if there was time. But at least there would be time to review. I don’t think many trades would be affected. We’re a pretty liberal group in that regard. However, that is not the point.

jdb just posted this:

For the record i like right where we are at with injuries here @ Paydirt. Injury management is an important deal and I feel the game would be pretty vanilla without a lil drama. That being said as much as Im against turn them down Im just as much if not more against turning them up. I like em right where they are for this league.

Now for Paydirt B I may turn them down over there so rookie or newer GM's have less to manage and can focus on game planning and cap control.

This is a jdb post on injuries and that the league admins can now adjust them.
Over at Paydirt I anticipate that we will them as is for the challenge of injury management. But for here in Paydirt B I want to hear you guys on whether you would like it adjusted or leave them alone.

I think slightly lower would be perfect, imo.

I am in favor of a slightly lower rate as well..on a trial basis..injuries are part of the game. I wouldn't want that aspect taken out of the game.........................................MM

The higher the better. We are all professional mfn players. We should be able to deal.

We can deal, BUT, I would rather deal with game planning and seeing my players actually play than sitting out with injuries.
