GG Lions. Looks like you are rolling into the playoffs. As a Vikings fan in RL, I'll try my best against the hated Packers next week. And if I lose, and I probably will, I apologize...

Not sure I've ever had a punt blocked, I get two blocked and lose the FG battle because of it.

GG Chicago

We jumped out to a 7-0 lead and it was all down hill from there. This rag tag team needs to learn their playbooks yet.

The Paydirt Report: Week 9

Seattle survives a scare from Cleveland to remain undefeated. Seattle jumped out to a 28-9 1st half lead and as everyone turned the channel, the Browns mounted an intense 2nd half comeback to close it up to 31-26. But the Seahawks picked off Cleveland's QB Paulson twice in their final two drives late in the game to seal the deal.

That was a good game but it did not eclipse the San Francisco / Arizona contest as our Game of the Week. The 49ers and Cardinals battled back til the gun sounded with San Francisco on top by a score of 22-20.

The rookie GM race is heated up. All 3 GM's(Lucky, pronfl51 and dd35) are within a game of each other in wins. Lucky leads the way @ 4-5 with pronfl51 and dd35 a game back @ 3-6. Now lets see what else is going on with the rest of Paydirt.

AFC
West
San Diego(6-3) holds onto a slim lead over Kansas City(5-4) and Denver(4-5) as all three won this week. Oakland(3-6) lost and looks like they are running out of steam to keep up in the West.

East
Buffalo(6-3) closed up to within a game of Miami(7-2) as they won and the Dolphins got upset by division foe New England(2-7). Hats off to the Patriots on their huge upset. NY Jets(3-6) dropped their 2nd straight and is losing ground on their playoff hopes.

North
Cincinnati(7-2) opens up their lead in the North with a win and a Cleveland(5-4) loss. Both Pittsburgh(2-7) and Baltimore(2-7) both lose.

South
Houston(6-3) opens up a 2 game lead on the rest of the division with a win and everyone else losing. Indianapolis(4-5), Jacksonville(4-5) and Tennessee(3-6) all go down in week 9.

NFC
East
Dallas(8-1) is showing that they are one of the elite teams in Paydirt as they continue to roll through their competition. They defeated Philadelphia(4-5) to all but secure another NFC East division title. NY Giants(4-5) and Washington(0-9) both go down with loses.

West
Seattle(9-0) hasn't received their "y" in the mail yet but it is on its way. They hold a 6 game lead with 7 left to play. San Francisco(3-6) leap frogged over Arizona(2-7) with their thrilling victory over the Cardinals. Los Angeles(1-8) is locked in the cellar where nobody can hear their screams.

North
Detroit(8-1) gets a lil breathing room over Green Bay(6-3) as they win and the Packers lose. Chicago(4-5) and Minnesota(2-7) both win as well.

South
Atlanta(8-1) continues to hold up as one of the elite teams in 1981. They hold a slim 1 game lead over Carolina(7-2) in the South. And guess who plays each other this coming week? The "Games to Watch" will tell the tale. Tampa Bay(6-3) is hanging in there as well. New Orleans(3-6) had their 3 game win streak snapped and are now in desperation mode.

Games to Watch: Week 10
Atlanta @ Carolina - Battle Royale
Tampa Bay @ San Diego

GG DJSim22/Colts. You've got a good team despite the record.

Punt blocks are game changers for sure. There's been a lengthy discussion about them in the public forums, including how to pull them off. There's really not much of a way to stop them either.

No need to apologize. Just do your best win or lose. You might see the punt block scheme against the Pack as well.

At least your block punt was basically just a tackle. Seattle blocked my first two punts and returned both for TDs. Kind of made a difference when we lost by just 5.

Good to know that Seattle does it, too.

Good game Jets. When our passing game is working, we're tough to beat. It sucks that we are so irregular, especially my QB Fiorini.

GG JGC/San Diego,

We were never at the races in this one, fell behind early, never ever looked like getting back in with a shout, you have a tough team and in Triplett, you have a big game playmaker.

Huge game against the Falcons coming up,we lose,we`re out, simple as...
