The Paydirt Report: Week 2

It's week 2 and were already down to 6 undefeated teams. Three from each conference. The Cleveland Browns victory over their arch rivals Cincinnati Bengals 24-21 on a 4th quarter comeback that was capped off by a 4 yd TD pass from QB Paulson to 2nd yr WR Frazee with 0:11 left on the clock. This incredible rivalry goes back to the beginning of Paydirt and hasn't let up ever since. And it prolly won't be letting up anytime soon. And in 1982 the AFC North just received 3-time Super Bowl champ and Paydirt's All-Time wining est GM with 154, awest827. Who took the Baltimore job and presently sits on top of the division @ 2-0. This will be a fun division to watch over the coming years.

But the big story in Paydirt is over in the NFC North. Where the Chicago Bear's with rookie GM Damion has gotten off to a great start by defeating 2 divisional foes including the 1980 Super Bowl champions Green Bay Packers this past week 21-9. But they do have an incredibly rough schedule this year. It's one of the roughest that I can remember. But so far they haven't blinked and appear to be ready for all takers.

In the player roundup, KC QB Miguel Davis followed up his 5 TD performance from last week with a 3 TD and 0 Int game this week to keep the Chiefs on top of the Wild Wild AFC West. Carolina's RB Pat Stacy completed his 2nd straight 100 yd rushing game and helps the Panthers rebound with a win in week 2.

Seattle TE David Burch leads in receptions with 27 and Detroit's veteran CB Mose Rodgers is off to a great start with 4 Int's in the first two games.

Whats going on with Derrick Rubinstein?

Lots of weakness

Why did Chicago cut him when he had the cap space to keep him and potentially trade him?

Also why is it the GM that initially brought this up, is the GM that ended up with the player? I'm really confused.

I put in a claim for the player as well but that was prior to me reading anything on the forums, had I, I would have withdrew my claim.

Now I am just curious what was decided as for as the player goes.

Not sure what the rules are on this but it seems Rubinstein should go back to Chicago's roster or the very minimum have our reps have a vote on it.

Beercloud Made a decicion on this cas, btw i didnt cut rubinstein. I dont know what happend, but i definitly not click on the cut Button. But it is how it is i must look forward and make the best out of it.

GG Bears, think Im about done for a while, have lost interest, didnt GP and started Hall (RB1) with serious injury, and it showed. So, that combined with more than my fair share of opposite *** activiities, lol, my time on MFN is taking a real deep backseat. GL rest of the season.

Do you play on a mobile device? I'm about 50/50 but when I am on mobile sometimes I will accidentally hit buttons I didn't mean to, I've almost accidentally abandoned teams before.

I understand why Beercloud made the decision he made, if I was commish I likely would have come to the same decision. But that being said, nothing is stopping the Redskins GM from doing whats right.

And what I'm supposed to do? Cut him so you can claim him again? I'm sure that you're smarter than everyone and have a solution CoachNorm! It's funny that you didn't post anything until you saw that you didn't get him lmao

I rarely check the forums, once I found out what was going on my opinion changed. I assumed the player was there because of a cap issue but that isn't the case.
I would cut the player and allow Chicago to make his claim and get his player back.
It's just funny to me that you are the one that intially made a huge deal about it and now that you've ended up with the player you are fine with how things turn out.
Do you care at all about having the respect of your peers?

Honest question, how old are you? 15?

That's the first thing I said when I was trying to get a solution (you can check this thread) even though I knew I was #1 in the priority list and nobody gave a **** so GTFO with that bullshit.
