I would cut the player and allow Chicago to make his claim and get his player back.
It's just funny to me that you are the one that intially made a huge deal about it and now that you've ended up with the player you are fine with how things turn out.
Do you care at all about having the respect of your peers?

That's the first thing I said when I was trying to get a solution (you can check this thread) even though I knew I was #1 in the priority list and nobody gave a **** so GTFO with that bullshit.

Okay so cut the player and let Chicago pick him up, no one is stopping you.

People join private well run leagues to avoid situations like these, just saying.

So another 7 teams claim him again and don't care about it? Why didn't you do it when I proposed it? LMAO I will keep him don't worry.

It's funny because all the owners who are crying about this are the most mediocre ones in this league. It makes you think about it...

I was one of those seven teams and I told you why. No one is crying, have some dignity. You look like a jackass.

The game most likely cut Rubinstein due to cap issues. When Chicago tried to put in a claim on him after they lost him the game wouldn't let him do it because he was over the cap. He was going to have to cut some players to get under the cap in order to put a claim in.

That player is rightfully Washington's. Androwski has done nothing wrong. Trying to shame and put pressure on GM in this league into making a roster move that is not in the best interest of their team is starting to **** me off.

You can look for my replacement next season Beer. The reason I initially looked for a custom league and not an official MFN league was to avoid situations like this. It's not worth the effort to build a team season-to-season when things like this are going on in background. I'd be better suited to put my time and effort into USFL.

Exactly what is going on in the background?

A lack of sportsmanship.

We all said our peace and how we would handle it. It’s over. Nothing nefarious took place. One player isn’t going to affect the playoff picture.

As one of the so called mediocre GMs, I’m ok with that. As well as being called mediocre.

Does any GM in the league doubt that Damion made a mistake? He has less valuable players on his roster that have a bigger cap hit. I believe him 100%. I also know how finicky the website can be while you are on mobile device.

This wasn't an error it was a complete accident.

An error would have been him cutting the player thinking he needed to make cap space. Had that been the case completely fair game.

But what happened is he accidentally hit the button (probably just reading player details reviewing his roster) and has stated numerous times that he doesn't know what happened. Meaning that the mistake can happen again, since he doesn't know what happened in the first place. So shouldn't we at least have a protocol going forward if these situation ever arise again?

What if this happened right after week 16 and a playoff team made a claim? Or right before the Championship game?

I wish I would have been the #1 team on the waiver, I would've immediately dropped him once I found out what I know now. I'd rather lose than win that way.
