The Paydirt Report: Week 3Week 3 in 1982 knocks our undefeated class down to 4 team. Baltimore and Indianapolis in the AFC. Seattle and Tampa Bay in the NFC. The Los Angeles Rams 4th QT comeback win over the Minnesota Vikings 11-10 is our Game of the Week. Trailing 10-2 after 3 quarters of play, the Rams rallied behind a Int by Rams rookie CB Donald Higgins on the Vikings 23 yd line. After a sack that almost put the Rams out of FG position, 13 yr veteran kicker Greg Spradley drilled a 52 yarder for the go ahead and eventual game winner.
In player news, Carolina RB Pat stacy is on a record breaking pace with his 3rd 100 yd game in a row. He now sits at 387 yds rushing after 3 games. We will start breaking down the divisions in week 4 but at the time of this press release, it looks like the Wild Wild west is back in true form. The AFC East is all knotted up and the Super South in the NFC looks to be dominant once again.
Til next time this is Beercloud signing off on the Paydirt Radio Network.
