The Eagles have been shut out 4 of the last 6 weeks lol. They need an owner bad. Even against the Eagles my offense stalled for most of the game. Looks like I've switched offenses with Dallas the last few weeks.

Averaging 36.8 pts per game in their last 5 games. All wins. And 50.7 pts per game in their last 3. Holy cow.

The Rams win over the Cardinals really shook up the NFC Wild Card race as that last spot now looks wide open. If the Wild Card race in the NFC is heating up, the Wild Card chase in the AFC is a coronal mass ejection. Last but not least, how bout that race in the AFC South. Ya baby.

Missing Birt for the first 6 games and trying to find a defense that worked for this team did not help.

The Paydirt Report
MM Beat Edition: Week 11
by Meatmen

Hey there sports fans! Meatman returns with the Paydirt Report after missing last week due to RL work issues. I want once more convey my sincerest apologies for missing out. I take this post seriously and will give every bit of effort to stay on top. The races are getting very tight and some E’s arrived in the mail boxes of a few GM's last week. Rumor has it that one GM (who shall remain nameless) backed is truck over the mailbox over and over in frustration. let's get to this weeks games after falling behind last week there is a lot to report.

San Francisco 49ers (1-10) 0 @ Tampa Bay Bucs (10-1) 82

The Bucs laid it on thick and heavy right from the get-go and continued to lay it on thicker and heavier as the shellacking progressed. Marvin Walker was 36/48 544 yards and 7 touchdowns. A Scott Watts Pick 6 for 34 yds, & Jose Frank’s 4 FG’s, 2 rushing TD’s were way more than the 49ers could handle. The Tampa defense turned in 5 INT’s, 1 sack and 1 Fumble to put this one into outer space. Tampa remains tied for first. they own the tie-breaker for now over the Panthers. The 49ers are looking to 1985.

Arizona Cardinals (7-4) 13 @ Los Angeles Rams (6-5) 45
Roger Zook went 26/36 308 Yds and 4 TD’s, Leonard Birt had 160 receiving, 81 yards rushing with a TD to power the Rams to Victory over the Arizona Cardinals. It looks like LA may have straightened out there defensive situation just in time to enter the AFC“WILD” CARD FRENY> An important divisional game as Arizona slips to second-place one game back. The Rams have now won their third in a row and moved up to third place just 2 games back to tighten the race! WHOA, NELLY!

Philadelphia Eagles (3-8) 0 at Baltimore Ravens (9-2) 26
No surprises here as Baltimore gets their second win in a row. Ravens have moved out to a three-game lead as Larry Walker was a quiet 25 of 35 for 235 yards and one TD. William Hughes turned in a Pick 6 for 61 yards to put the icing on the cake, or the cheese on the Philly steak, whichever you prefer. AI powered Philly is in trouble and while they haven't received an E yet, trust me, it's on the way.

Kansas City Chiefs (7-4) 26 @ Cleveland Browns (6-5) 20
Surprisingly, there were no turnovers in this game which is a very rare occurrence anymore. Miguel “Big Deal” Davis went 20/35 395 yards and 3 TD’s and hit Stephan Paige 4 times for 210 yards including a 90 yard TD romp. Paige broke 2 other long gainers and was run down by the Cleveland D. The game ended at precisely the right time for Kansas City as Cleveland was putting on the pressure late in the game. Paulson hit Frank Boozer for a 36 yard score in the 3Q and Holder for 3 yards in the 4Q to come within a score. Kansas City moves back into a tie with Denver owning the head to head and division record tie-breakers. The Broncos and Chiefs will meet on the Gridiron in Denver in week 12. The 6th seeded Browns play 7th seed Dolphins in week 12.

Seattle Seahawks (8-3) 27 at Tennessee Titans (1-10) 16
Seattle wins their 2nd in a row after a brief slide to hold a one game lead over Arizona. John Sullivan went 16/26 213 yards 2TD’s. Jeffrey Taylor caught passes 90 yards and Ramon Brawn added a 52 yard catch and run for a TD to lead the Seahawks or the Titans. The Titans Who were eliminated last week are looking to rebuild next season.

Green Bay Packers (3-8) 3 @ Minnesota Vikings (1-10) 38
Well, well, well! Look who came to the dance, albeit 10 weeks late! Possibly motivated by the E they received in the mailbox last week The Vikings took charge of this one to get their first Notch in the victory column. 11 year vet Jonathan Cortez went 39/55 401 yds and 5 TD’s Dean Thompson added a 90 yd catch and run for a TD as the Vikes played keep away from Dewey Sherer and the Packers offense winning time of possession 40+mins to 19. This game had no effect on the division race as the lights are out for both teams.

Denver Broncos (7-4) 24 @ San Diego Chargers (5-6) 16
In a very important decision game the Broncos were able to hold onto A first-place tie with the Chiefs as the Chargers slip to 3rd. Mark Poole got back on track somewhat going 26/44, 326 yards and 3 TD’s. Twitchell had 3 grabs for 185 yards and 2 TD’s. Gilberto Kidd made 3 fg’s and Naverette ran for an 18 yards score in a losing effort for the Chargers. Despite Pool throwing 2 interceptions San Diego could not capitalize as Eric Young has a very disappointing day 29/47 169 yards and 1 TD.

New Orleans Saints (5-6) 21 @New York Jets (5-6) 25
The Saints lose their 2nd in a row as the Jets win their 2nd in a row to pull within a game of the division leading Bills/Dolphins. The Jets got 6 FG’s and Charles Brown capped off a 5 play 35 yard drive to capitalize on a Saints interception in that saw the Jets score 16 unanswered in the 4Q to snatch Victory from the Saints. Despite 3 INT’s, 2 fumble recoveries and a sack the Saints offense stalled on 14 of 16 possessions not crossing the 50. Albert Urias had a fumble recovery for a score to round out the Saints dismal day.

Carolina Panthers (10-1) 62 @ Washington Redskins (6-5) 24
It was the Redskins turn in the Woodshed this week as the Panthers spread 634 total yards around maintain their season-long tie with Tampa Bay. Carolina won time of possession 40:15/19:45. Walter “the ACE” Azevado went 28/43359 yards 3 TD’s and Pat stacy had 10 rec /156 yds and went 19/151 rushing to lead the Panthers. $134M man Charles woodson caught 2 for 61 yards and a TD and Nicholas Coombs caucht 4 for 43 yards and 2 TD’s. Washington quarterback Edward Chapman hits Frankel for a 36-yard score, Michael Abbott for 67 yards on a hot read, and Russell Alteir for a 1 yard score which was not recorded in the drive stats for some reason. Edward Chapman's three interceptions were too much for the Skins to overcome. Why the Bucks have the first seed at 10 in one Carolina has the fifth seed at 10 and 1 this could all change as they play head-to-head here in a few weeks. Tampa has four division contest yet to play where Carolina has just a little game against the Bucks. Washington drop to two games back behind the streaking Cowboys who have won five in a row.

New York Giants (4-7) 24 @ Pittsburgh Steelers (1-10) 7
The Giants take advantage of the hapless Steelers to get a much-needed win to avoid elimination this week. Esteban client was 24 of 37 for 270 yards and three touchdown passes, Cameron Arnold had 8 catches for 121 yards and 10 rushes for 42 for 163 toal and A TD on the day. Benjamin Walker added the five catches for 83 yards to contribute to the win. KUDOS to the Steelers for getting 1st round(6th overall)Barry Fletcher on the field. he probably should have been playing since week 5 or 6 given the Steelers freefall of 9 losses in a row. Kendrick Hamilton was simply not getting the job done with 13 sacks/111yds 9 TD’s and 28 Int’s and a 59% completion avg. are not the stats of a guy that can lead his team to a winning record let alone the post.

Atlanta Falcons (6-5) 20 @ Dallas Cowboys (8-3) 37
The Falcons suffer a big setback at the hands of the Cowboys who seemed to have regained their form of the past few seasons. Hector has lead the horses to water and made em drink the kool-aid! riding a 5 game win streak they have pulled out to a 2 game lead over the redskins BUT WAIT>>>>>>>>>>>>>>they still have 3 division games left could we see a flip or flop? stay tuned football fans. Marinarul’s 6th seeded Falcons (6-5) have 2 Games left vs. the division leading Bucs (10-1) and also face the Dolphins (6-5) skins(6-5)and Saints (5-6) a real tough nut to crack!

New England Patriots (2-9) 13 @ Buffalo Bills (6-5) 37
Jorge Bishop was 31/57 457 yards 4 TD’s 4 Int’s. Micheal Lee had 4 rec for 147 and 2 TD’s complimented by Robert Miller’s 4 rec for 130 yards and 2 TD’s to help the Bills get back on the winning track and keep pace with the surging Dolphins in a first place tie. The patriots are now looking forward to a Super Bowl clam bake and next season.

Cincinnati Bengals (6-5) 13 @ Miami Dolphins (6-5) 33
Miami wins their 4th in a row Eric Fiorini tossed 2 TD’s, Bill Kibbe ran for a TD and Bobby Walker added 4 FG’s to the winning cause as the Fis swim past the crouching Tigers. Cincy suffered it’s 3rd loss in a row but managed to stay in the wild card chase.

Detroit Lions (9-2) 23 @ Chicago Bears (6-5) 10
The Lions won their 3rd in a row in a defensive battle that saw Detroit's MLB Wesley Maddox 1 Int and 1 Fumble recovery and SLB Larry Espinosa grab an Int. to stifle drives. RB’s Andrew Hobbs rushed 18/65 2 TD’s and Michael Paschal was 14/55 to lead the ground attack. Paschal and Hobbs added catches and both were over 100 yards for the game. The bears offense floundered as the ailing defensive line did their best to keep the lions at bay. DA Bears at six and five are the 10th seed a small miracle considering they usually have the E by now and are getting the polish sausages ready for the postseason. Could this team have It’s 1st winning record since ‘73? Stay tuned!

Houston Texans (6-5) 31 @ Indianapolis Colts (6-5) 26
Salty’s Texans continues their roll getting their 4th win in a row to hold the 4th seed over the Colts (once 5-0) who have dropped 4 straight and 5 of their last 6! Houston’s Merlin Fitzpatrick had 4 catches for 145 yards and a TD to help QB Calvin Lopez have a very efficient day 15/26, 311 yards, 4 TD’s. RB’s Picket 20/79 and Acuiri 7/34 lead the rush attack that seemed to make the difference. Only 1 turnover in this one CB Owen OOOOOOBRIIIIIIIIIEEEEN<conan O’brien intro> (the Int was not recorded in the drive charts) IDK if it stifled a drive? or what? it was not a score so nuff said...Colts QB Keneth Bonnilla actually had a decent day completing 14/50 for 400 yards 2 TD’s, he was sacked twice. The Colts made an attempt out scoring the Texans 16-3 in the second half but fell short running out of precious time...could this be a metaphor for their season? Oh it’s gonna be a hot one in the AFC SOUTH! I’m callin a horse race!

Jacksonville Jaguars (6-5) 29 @ Oakland Raiders (3-8) 20
What a difference a few weeks can make? The Jags get their 3rd Win a row and pull into a 3-way tie with the Texans and Colts. Personally I have been waiting for the Jags to achieve some success since GG was in Denver at all points Paydirt. QB Charles Denton was 29/45, 315 yards and 3 TD’s Charles Hobdy had 5 rec /117 yards and a TD, Henry Montes had a big day scoring 2 TD’s on just 6 catches for 38 yards. The Jags D wasn’t to be left out of the fun Led by the 2nd year !ST round draft pick Lester Williams with a fumble recovery and 3 sacks. DT Hamilton and DE’s Zack Birnett and Ulysses Caudill added a sack apiece to keep Raiders QB David Hunter on the run and on his **** all game.

OK Gents. Week 11, in the books, down the tube, up the old……..well, you can fill in the blanks.. I really want to express how much I am enjoying doing the Paydirt report and just once more express my apologies for missing week 10. I appreciate and look forward to you liking my post. I know who you are<><>. I really think that despite the flaws in the gameplay/version at present. we have a VERY interesting scenario unfolding in paydirt right now. Many of our long time and very successful GM’s chose to take on …..shall we say….”Projects” and IDK if it was to stave off boredom, find something to occupy time until a fix of 4.5 comes along or SHEER INSANITY! I really think it has added to the league. I applaud you all. I had considered Atlanta when Hellbringer left, I also liked Philly, Chicago and still like the Steelers.. There are some barnburners coming up this week that will have an impact in many races. It’s still early in both leagues. I’m pickin these as my top 4 to watch in week 12.

Tampa @ Atlanta
- This is a must win for the Falcons. A loss will not eliminate them but it could throw a monkey wrench into their current 6th seed standing.Tampa has to keep winning to stay ahead of Carolina.

Kansas City @ Denver _ Right now the chiefs own the the division record and H2H over the Broncos. They also sit as the #2 seed. A bronco’s win would change everything!. Denver would go up a game and would tie the Chiefs in division record and H@H could determine the champ.

LA @ Jacksonville
The Rams are just 2 seasons into their rebuild and have rallied 3 wins in a row to get into the mix as sethrick is seeking beercloud to give up a parade. The Jags lead by GreyGhost have recently won 3 and took a look around to find themselves smack in the middle of the race. A fun one fer sure..

Arizona Cardinals @ Chicago Bears
There is no pressure on the Bears here. Being a home game, the way that the trends are running, If.... I were a betting man I would bet on the Bears. All the pressure here is on Arizona and Coach Norm to win on the road. Arizona may have a better team on paper but the Bears are at home, not to mention that they have pulled off a few surprises this season?

OK! I’m outta here until week 12. Happy Super Bowl Sunday be safe and have fun! .That’s all the news that’s fit to print and some that ain’t until next time that’s the MEAT OF THE MATTER :P…………………………………………………….MM

* No IDK why those last 2 paragraphs are all bold..prolly cuz I am KING, the SOFA KING...SOFA KING WE TODD DID......MM
