Sorry to ask but what is the "Punt-Block nerf scheme"?
i really don´t know what it is, never changed nothing substancial in special teams formations.

Good game by Detroit and best of luck to the next round.

It's just putting fast players on the edge. Anybody with a simple knowledge of a punt return play would do that anyway. It just works a lot in MFN.

Once again, to be clear, I was not accusing you of any wrong doing or taking cheap shots at you personally. I was just commenting on the game play itself. Just as 6 or 8 turnovers are not realistic and really frustrating the game has an issue with punt blocks. A number of GM's have exploited this. Awest is correct that putting fast players on the edge is simple knowledge and used as SOP by most. Some have used this exploit at nausea. Usually, the guys that can't figure out any other way to win. I was commenting on the state of the 4.5 curse. It must have very well been just the sim. My Paydirt report is a news and opinion piece and is not meant to attack anyone. I attempt to lead with humor and have no axes to grind with anyone. Well, except that GM in KC. He is insufferable! I apologize again if my big mouth upset anyone. I will attempt to keep my opinions to myself..................................................MM

Next up; My final Paydirt report for 1982. I will be moving over to Paydirt "B" to cover the regular season and will return after preseason 1983.

GG Razor, we were able to get the victory but picked up some major injuries on defense, time to see how deep this roster is.

Thanks for those articles MM. They were outstanding.

Back from vacation. I'll get my sleeves rolled up and get our website up to date. Then get ready to watch those Conference Championship games.

Didn't get a chance before but congrats to broncos7nuggets, CrazyRazor and hectorg93 on their first Paydirt division titles. hectorg93 doing it in his rookie season no less.

Other notables: congrats on setherick for reviving the Los Angeles Rams and awest827 for reviving the Baltimore Ravens. The race in the AFC south was incredible. But Salty_Watermelon and his Texans wrestled the division championship away from DJSim22's Indianapolis Colts and greyghost1225's Jacksonville Jaguars.

To be honest if it was simple knowledge it would’ve happened a long time ago. Someone looking for an edge found it and then it became the copy cat standard. Hence the nausea of the do/don’t do it threads.

Home field advantage has been crucial in the 1982 playoffs. Congrats to Baltimore and Carolina on their Super Bowl XIII tickets.

This is the first time Baltimore has made the Super Bowl. Carolina with jouameng's leadership is looking to repeat. This is awest827's first Super Bowl appearance since 1979 with Seattle. Surprisingly this is the first time these two juggernaut GM's have faced each other in a playoff game. They are 2-2 against each other in the regular season. awest827 is looking for his 4th Super Bowl title and jouameng is trying to capture his 3rd.

Sim is delayed for Media Day and GM interviews will be sent.

That’s good. Gives time for those CB’s Baltimore just signed to learn how to play DE, especially since they’ll be starters for the big game! ;)
