Sometimes winning is more important than fun when playing a game. In reality all of it is defendable it just takes more time and effort to create overrides and rules to defend once it gets out and is public knowledge.
It was and probably still fun to watch owners run big formations in the hopes you get overuse because didn’t create a rule. It’s the little things that make you laugh.
That said it’s not fair to blame any one particular owner. It’s been going on since the inception of MFN with a whole bunch of folks.

As far as the GM in question, I find it more annoying that he tries to run up the score throwing td bombs in the last minute regularly.
