AFC West Through 4 weeks we have 4 undefeated team one of them would be SD. The Chargers are quickly 2 games ahead of the division. They won all 4 games on the road, but they haven’t really been tested yet. The chiefs have won their last 2 against arguably the 2 worst teams in the league but that’s enough to put them in 2nd place. The Broncos lost by 1 in week 3 and tied in week 4 that’s just bad luck. Unfortunately, their top corner Jason Chaves tore something in his knee this week and will be out for about half the season. The attendance in Oakland is trending toward all-time lows.
AFC East $B$Dog$ wants to show that the wild Buffalo Bills are back. They are one of the 4 undefeated teams. The Jets have had some trouble scoring as they still haven’t put up 20 but they’re defense has kept them in games, and they are just 1 game back. Miami crushed their last 2 opponents to get back to .500. The attendance in New England hit an all-time low in week 2. I guess fans don’t like to watch teams that don’t win.
AFC North Baltimore, Pittsburgh and Cincinnati have all won their last 2 and are tied at 3-1. The Steelers and Bengals play each other next week. Cleveland has lost their last 2 both in the division. It looks like a 3-team race, but it should be a good one.
AFC South Houston is technically undefeated as they tied the Broncos this week. After hovering around .500 give or take a game for the last 4 seasons Colts fans are saying here we go again. It’s not looking pretty for Jacksonville and Tennessee. The Titans went all out in FA to get their star RB Andrew Hobbs for 20 million a year who is now out for about 6 weeks after loosing their first 4 games.
NFC East This division is up for grabs. Nobody has separated themselves in either direction. Philly won 3 games last season and they have won 3 out of 4 this season with the same GM. I’m interested to see if they can keep pace or not.
NFC West Arizona has sole possession of first place. It’s only 4 weeks but things might be looking up in Arizona. Jmvda is making questionable decisions in Seattle like giving a 30-year-old WR a 6-year extension with 5.7 million in bonus. I’m not sure how much longer Seattle can stay relevant when you make decisions like that. You have to wonder is Setherick even trying right now. For SF when your GM has a league record of 35-128-1 in 11 seasons it’s hard to see the team winning anything.
NFC North I’m trying to figure out if anybody is going to win this division but so far nobody has stepped up. I guess somebody has to win the Colts did win the AFC South in 1973 by going 6-10.
NFC South New Orleans is undefeated and holds the top spot in the South for now. The easy stretch is over let’s see what they can do with their tough upcoming schedule. This division is brutal. If I had to rank teams 1-4 in the NFC I think they would all come from this division. Although Carolina is not looking like themselves right now. They lost 3 games total in the last 2 seasons and they just lost 3 in a row this season.
