Boy, I'll tell you what.... Titans fans are livid

Team is cursed im telling ya

But there was that one division championship. Of course that's the only season the team has more than 6 wins but other teams have worse history.

Its honestly a roster that just needs to build over time. I hate to quote the 76'ers philosophy, but trust the process. Unfortunately, I fear I may be removed as GM right before I get to see this team come to fruition. When I took over, this team had about 50% of its roster as 8+ year vets and had traded all its future picks for picks in the draft just before I took over where a lot of the picks busted.

Its tough to do a rapid rebuild in this league. At a minimum, I will take consolation in setting the stage for the next GM.

I respect Smirt a lot, and I suspect he's doing this to prove a point, but I think its time to rein this in a bit:

I haven't watched the game, but it appears the punt block tactic is being exploited. I mean, look at Cincy's drive chart, if its not punt block exploit, then something is seriously messed up in Cincy's gameplan

Lol. We have dealt with punt blocks in other leagues. It’s frustrating to the point of quitting. Owners that already know all the ins and outs of game planning and roster management are hard enough to beat straight up. So two things can happen:

1. Everyone tries to block punts. Not always going to work but everyone gives it their best effort.
2. New owners or owners that just don’t give a **** about that advantage are going to lose games, get unmotivated and quit.

MFN already has a hard time recruiting new owners and retaining long time owners. Adding to the list of people that quit probably is not in anyone’s best interest.

What’s the fun in winning championships where there are 15 out of 32 AI teams.

Oh, and nice *** whipping ATL. Thought you might get a punt block in there too. Not that you needed it. We didn’t have a chance from the opening kick off.

I still wonder where they would be now if we had still been in the 4.3 version that team had its breakout season right before the jump

GG Niners.

I didn't know about the punt blocking exploit until I saw that thread in the forum about it. From then, I override to block against it and try to get punts. If everyone agrees, I'm totally okay to create a rule to prevent an exploit like this one. I'm curious to see if awest or jgcruz have any future solution about it.

PS: We need an owner for the Packers btw.

I find punt block exploits annoying. I don’t find it any more annoying though than the 2 an exploit, wr’s as rb’s, fullbacks as guards, de’s as cb’s orvise versa. So where and what do you try to outlaw? It’s all stupid and not football.

As far as the GM in question, I find it more annoying that he tries to run up the score throwing td bombs in the last minute regularly.
