Position limits
A GM shall NOT insert a player into a position on the depth chart (including overrides) during the regular season which deviates from the following: 1. RB may include only players whose primary position is RB, FB, TE or WR. 2. FB may include only players whose primary position is RB, FB or TE. 3. TE may include only players whose primary position is FB, TE, WR or an offensive lineman. 4. WR may include only players whose primary position is RB, FB, TE or WR. 5. Offensive line players may only include players whose primary position is offensive lineman or TE. 6. Defensive line players may only include players whose primary position is defensive lineman or LB. 7. LB may only include players whose primary position is LB or S. 8. S may only include players whose primary position is S, CB or LB. 9. CB may only include players whose primary position is CB or S. 10. Re: Position limits
I took over a 3-13 roster structure, therefore, this is going to be difficult. I'm waiting, though, because once we have a declaration of how this proceeds I'll need to pull up each player and make individual decisions for the SEASON.
It would be wack if someone went sim to sim flipping someone from position to position to avoid detection or try to avert the rule ninja style.

Re: Position limits
Well, for now, I'm not changing anything. I will play my game as I always have. If I get tossed, I get tossed. This is my final league in a declining game. A fix has been long overdue on much more important issues.................................................................MM
Re: Position limits
nods I've been waiting it out but training camp is almost here. I'd want to go into it with my set positions. I should sit down now and see how things break down via the guidelines. What I can field competitive wise and make a decision.
I know that if it progresses to that RB/WR ish I'll definitely hit the red button plunger. (ejection seat) lol
Re: Position limits
Why are we in limbo?
D) Proposals are accepted after Pre-Season game 1 and before Week 15 of the regular season.Preseason Game #1 hits and it goes into effect. Doesn't it? Cuz I'll put it off til next Preseason Game #1...(the following season) I'm stuck here. Not getting why we're in delay.
Re: Position limits
this is what i was worried about another rule that is gonna spawn more problems that lead to more rules and nerfs when like meatman said there were bigger problems last season then this i would of rather have seen the trade situation be solved but we shall see if this will be worth it.
Re: Position limits
Daily game rotation is about to commence and training camp is early morning. I'm maintaining the same structure as last season. It was either get it in before training camp with the newly established position moves or don't.
And I'm not making major speed loss shifts without it being cemented as a must move. :(
Re: Position limits
I don't get why this is such an issue. Seems the whole point is ya have people taking advantage of a computer glitch to win. WOOT, WOOT how fun!!!!!!!! I really don't get why you would want to win like that in the first place. But I guess there are the Billacheats in the world.

Maybe I'm reading the rules wrong but... major speed loss shifts? Unless you want to play one of your DB's as DE's (or viceversa), I don't really understand the problem.
Just don't play your WR's at cornerback and don't do the Punt Blocking exploit and I think you'll be fine.
EDIT: My backup RDE was a CB two seasons ago. At last year's TC, I got him from the Waiver List and changed his position to full-time DE. Can I play him there?

Yeah, the D-E-F thing confuses me where to look for that, however, using context clues if the vote goes to suspend the time frame then that means the adoption is immediate.
No and it's put off.
I'll swing by in a bit and I'll assume if it evens up at 7-7 we'll be on our way to its adoption due to momentum.
So let me get this straight, if the DEF vote does not pass then all votes are off? It's getting more confusing by the moment.
