Good game KC....that was the polar opposite of our last high scoring contest.
Pretty simple...You're team showed up at crunch-time late in the 4th quarter to get the win. We made it close with the last minute TD, but couldn't get the 2pt conversion for the tie.
One game left to decide the division....as much as I loath to say it....but I'm a Broncos fan next game. lol
The Bronco's are battered physically as well as mentally. The last three games have all come down to the last minute of action. Two weeks ago we lose to Carolina on a game ending field goal 23-21. Last week we have a 36-20 lead on K.C. only to have them storm back with 24 unanswered to win 44-36 that one hurt bad.
And this week we are given two chances in he last two minutes to tie with TD and take a one point lead with a good XP. 16-10 San Diego. First chance Wittie Sewage (Willie Lewis) throws an interception down at San Diego's five yard line. I almost turned off the game, like seriously a minute something left, this is over, but a few plays later D-line interception. Whaaaaatttt! Ok. We're at the San Diego's five yard line a little over a minute left. This is crazy!
First play is a run for no gain. I don't know why? they should be in hurry up mode. I guess the game engine thought it might be a "good" idea to bleed the clock a little. Wierd.
Then incomplete pass. I've seen plenty of those
Third down; sacked for a loss of three yards. Blood is boiling.
Fourth down; ok. guys. do. it. Nope! Sacked.
Dang!
I'll be giving it everything I got against K.C. (I'm still infuriated from last time) but in all reality I should sit my top two corners being there both very banged up.
We'll see.
