GG KC/Meatman. We held the home field advantage this time around (partially due to uncalled holding penalties?).
My vets stepped up big as the young guys floundered a bit. We're trying to transition to a younger team without losing or necessarily tearing the team up and doing a complete rebuild. It's going to try my patience and I'm unsure as to whether it can be done. Six rookies on the team, the most i've ever had. Nevertheless, there's still a lot of old vets who won't be on the team after the next couple of seasons.
As always, you had a good game plan sir! I was expecting you to let the ball fly a bit more with than "Young" gun you have. You can only hope that in your transition year you do as well as warthog did ....winning it all! The Chargers (as always) gave us a game and we were forced to throw he ball a lot more than I would have liked. From the opening drive we were playing "ketchup" (LOL) Never a good thing with the Chargers. My gameplan never intended for Azevado to throw 45 times.. and your playcalling kept my D on the run the whole game....Iost my starting SS for the season. and two very valuable defensive players are questionable?......ALA Raiders... lol We had a chance to give your boy Houk a warm welcome in Tennessee last week with 7 sacks and 3 Int's...just not the same guy w/o that chargers OL!
I wish you the best of luck (until week 11) my friend. ............MM
