When I saw your post I decided to look it up. So I watched a bunch of punt blocks and every single one of them was a bunch of DB WRs and LBs.

Lmfao

They are not on the LOS. They're coming from the outside!

Watch a little more closely pre-snap. :P

Furthermore, I'm not complaining about LB's. Smdh
Get a clue about what's happening in those videos & what's happening in this game.

I think the worst thing about Punt Blocks in MFN is that the sim isn't able to change up the game plan mid-game. In an NFL game, as soon as the first punt is blocked, they make a change to the special teams whether it's the game-planning or putting in a player that's better suited to stop the rusher. After the 2nd or 3rd punt is blocked, I would assume Head Coaches give up entirely on punting and just would attempt to go for it on all their 4th downs. The game doesn't have the ability to do that... I'd be more okay if it was just one punt block a game, but there should never be more than 2 or 3 because at that point it's exploiting the game engine.

Real quick...I just read this, thus far: I had 3 punt blocks (against me) returned for touchdowns.

That's not accidental.

Who was the opposing GM?

We all lived harmoniously for years without the punt block being a thing from v4.0 (or whenever I started) to deep into v4.5 (whenever it was discovered)

Just shut it down, JDB. (which is what he is working on) The Punt Block wasn't even a glimmer of a thought in anyone's mind playing this game until coding allowed it to happen.

The first block was by Jermaine Kearse, WR... who was lined up right down the middle.

The second block was by Brad Smith, WR... who was lined up right down the middle.

The third block was by James Casey, TE... lined up right down the middle.

The fourth block was by Doug Bladwin, WR... lined up as a rusher.

The fifth block was by Bryan Braman, LB... lined up as a rusher.

From what I watched, a ton of them were lined up on the inside, not coming from the wing...

I'll PM you. It's been dealt with, but I'll be watching him from now on.

So you picked 5 punt blocks out of all of those? Which ones? I bet they weren't lined up on the LOS. They either followed a DL through a hole or came from the outside.
I'm not going through every single one of those to pick out which ones you selected.
DB's & WR's do not line up in front of OL blockers. They come in from angles or from behind a rushing DL

if you do care to point out which punts those were in the video, I'll look at them. There was 11+ minutes of footage & I'm not reviewing each one of them on my phone. Sorry

Are you guys trying to compare real football to MFN to justify punt blocks???

This used to be top 3 in MFN leagues. I’m staring to think not. For god sake such craziness to try and play fair.
